Sevastopol is a city in which history lives.

Personally, my Sevastopol was not associated with a beach holiday. The city is a hero - yes, a city with a story - yes, the city that was interesting to visit - yes. But bathing in the sea and the beaches, there is no way.

So came on arrival. We rented a chic one-bedroom apartment, prices, by the way, high enough - 2900 rubles per day. But the apartment in the center, in a good house, was nice to reach the balcony, everything is like a palm. On the very first day went to the beach, they decided to divide everything on the ground. In Sevastopol, eight beaches, more than half of them are sandy, very clean and well-groomed. But, apparently, by the end of August, the water was not for swimming. Or I liked myself that in the port city of the beaches are unsuitable for bathing. But I did not receive pleasure from the water, and we decided to do the excursion program. There was a lot of ideas, I wanted to visit as many places as possible about which I read in the books.

First of all, we went to the Holy Clementing Monastery in Inkerman.

It is located in the rock on the shore of the Inkerman Bay over a thousand years ago. Here were a quarry and on the legend, it was here that the Roman emperor Traian exiled a Christian priest to the Clement for being preached by Christianity. His name and named the monastery. The power of the Clement for legend was kept in the grotto, the entrance to which opened only once a year, when the sea retired. Then they were transferred to the island. The mysterious story about the monastery captured me when we were just thinking about our trip. But what they saw in the monastery was simply shocked. It must be said that the monastery itself, despite the fact that it is in a rock, inside light and warm, there are stoves. But narrow corridors, stones hanging right above their heads, make a little nervous. And there is also a room in the monastery, in which the skull is stored behind the glass. This is done according to the Afonov tradition, when a year after death, the grave is revealed and watching a man's soul with our Lord. Lampada burns in the Kuznice, and on the glass inscription - "We were the same as you, - you will be the same as we." Personally, I was shocked!

An hour's drive from Sevastopol is Bakhchisarai - the residence of the Crimean Hanov Gireev. The Khansky Palace is a museum complex. It is renovated, and as the guys say, it looks like it looks like with the hires themselves. On the square in front of the palace, you can take a picture in the costumes of the Chanov or their concubines. I did it with pleasure, remembering the famous Turkish series.

In general, Sevastopol is surrounded by secrets - Selic caves, cave cities, balaclava with her museum of submarines, the ancient settlement of Chersonesos, here, by the way, in the summer there are performances right in the open sky, however, we could not get on it.

We were so fascinated by the historical component of the city, which almost did not have time to get anywhere in the city, beautiful and blooming. Only went into the panorama "Defense of Sevastopol 1854-1855"

Panorama will shock with their size and naturalistic. The height is 14 meters, length - 115. When you rise to the viewing platform - you turn out to be within that battle, storming Malakhov Kurgan on June 6, 1855. As a person is particularly impressionable, I admitted everything that I saw and heard in a panorama. But this, I think it is very useful, so we better understand the history of your country.

And we walked along the chic picturesque embankment, admired the squares, boulevards. One week in Sevastopol a little, it should be converted here for a month with a clear plan of visiting monuments and museums, otherwise you can get confused!
