One of the main reasons why we arrived in Bilbao had a great opportunity to be on the coast of the Biscay Bay. Reaching the subway to the very last station that is called Plenzia, we went to search for our main goal - the Atlantic Ocean. Leaving the town of Plenzia on the right side, we went on the bridge leading to a small town called Barrick. This city is considered one of the oldest cities located on the coast of the Biscay Bay. It is believed that the date of its foundation falls for 496. Now Barrick is, in my opinion, a certain elite suburb of Bilbao. There are beautiful houses, the place is very quiet and calm. When you find yourself here, it seems as if time stopped. There are almost no people, for all the time our way, we met only a man with a daughter and a young couple. They also suggested to us how to go on the coast.
It must be said that when we gathered here to go here, we really wanted to see Turbiditis on the shore. They are special brands of rocky rocks located along the seashore. As mentioned, the turbidates were to remind the back of the dragon. Running from Barrika toward the sea, we found themselves on the hill, and our view opened the endless and majestic Atlantic Ocean. From local species just captures the spirit! The hilly terrain is cut with winding and fairly steep tracks, on the sides of which unusual flowers grow. We worked on them somehow, but people who live here even manage to make a jog.
Since we arrived closer in the evening, it was necessary to hurry. Going to the wild beach covered with sand, we were a little upset, because the turbiditis there was no trace. And the thing is that there was a tide time. Then it was decided to come here in the morning, and try good luck again. The next day, getting early, we went to a familiar route. We were lucky, the tump has already begun, and the dragon seemed from the water. A strange and fascinating spectacle is difficult to come up. On the beach we spent all day enjoying unusual views.
Since the beach is in the bay there was almost no waves. The only minus was that the rocks were not very convenient to enter the water. If you are going to go here, be sure to take a protective equipment with you, since the sun on the ocean coast is mercilessly. I would advise everyone to at least once to visit this beautiful place. Here you can feel like a person who was on the edge of the world and enjoy the incomparable beauty of the Biscay Bay.
