Sunset meeting in Vurveyra (kayaking)

Yasas, dear readers! This time I will tell you about a small journey that I did when I realized that I want the nature of Halkidiki, the sea and a little active recreation. The arrival point was the most beautiful village of Vurvey, on the second finger or leg of the Halkidiki Peninsula - Sithonia, somewhere through her center. This terrain is extraordinary, guests, locals or residents of thessalonik noted that such a unique nature, how they have no longer met anywhere else (pine and coniferous forests, deciduous forests, granite mountains, rocks, hills, the abundance of olive groves) - All this is truly creating a picture which I personally had a little difficult to perceive as a given, some kind of unimaginable and incredible.

I wanted to try on the own experience of "kayaking" in sea water. For the first time, I decided to choose not a long journey and in the evening (meeting of the sunset)) when the sun does not warm so much. So, my friends and I arrived at the base, there we were given a special water-rapid bag, in which there were a mask and snorkeling tube and a liter bottle of water, as well as a vest. We could change clothes and taking the oars went to the shore. There were a story about the program and short instructions. Everything turned out quite simple, the main thing is synchronized to row, and keep the pace.

Kayaki turned out to be very comfortable and easy, they kept perfectly on the water. And our seabed began. Kayakov was only 4, including our professional accompanying with her little, but brave dog, which carried a watch on a kayak's nose. We sailed about 25 minutes and got to the quiet and pleasant bay of the island of Dyporos, where they made the first stop. Not far from the shore there were small cliffs, just what you need to swim with the mask. At this trip, I discovered not only kayaking, but also snorkeling - saw the inhabitants of the underwater world, multicolored fish, crabs and a variety of polyps and corals. It was awesome! After swimming and relaxing on the shore, we broke the island a little and made the halt in another cozy bay with pines growing right at the water and a visible villa with a large adjacent territory. There we had a small picnic with light snacks (watermelon, melon, grapes, sesame bars). We snapped and talked with other guests. Time was nearing the sunset, and we went on the way back, which took about half an hour, watching bright pars of the sky and reflections in the water.

The journey turned out to be very cool: good impressions and exercise, after which there were pleasant fatigue and salt splashes.
