Meteora became one of the most memorable excursions for us. Not in vain say: "It was not on meteors - was not in Greece." The road took about 4 hours (with a small stop in the way), but comfortable enough in a large two-story bus. On the way, Vasily's Guide told us about Greece, about its attractions, stories, about the meteors themselves, which we were expected. Many thanks express the guide and the bus driver who made this trip unforgettable. First of all, we visited the icon-painted workshop, where the representative told us about creating various icons, and now, we finally took the course to rise directly to the meteors themselves. When we rose to the top, then literally lost the gift of speech. Beautiful cliffs, as if painted with neat strokes. Some of them are ending with monasteries, one of whom we were lucky to visit.
They look very unusual. Many vintage frescoes and icons. It is a pity that it is impossible inside the photograph, but these are the rules. After visiting the monastery, we had free time to resemble the territory where we were able to make stunning photos.
After that, we bring us to the town, which is located at the foot of these "giants". There we were waiting for a delicious and satisfying lunch in the tavern. We also managed to buy souvenirs, and then returned to the bus with the whole group and went back to the hotel.
I am sure that this trip will remain in our hearts for life, because we have not seen more beautiful before.
