Planning a trip to Georgia, we painted everything thoroughly, with the exception of one item: rest at sea. The options have revised the mass, as a result, we decided that in the low season of housing on the sea we will find easily, so we will simply choose what they like.
The first coastal village, in which we drove, was Ureki. They put the car, went to the beach - and realized that we stay here.
Beach - Black Sand. The sea is petty. People a little. These reasons were convinced of us to stay in Ureki.
With housing problems really did not appear: until June 15 at the sea (at least in Ureki) - not the season, resting little, so the owners are actively trading, ready to move in price. For 30 lari, there was no problem with all amenities in a mini-hotel, for four people (two children).
With the beach, everything is fine: a fairly clean sea, you can go for a very long time, and the water will be on the belt. Therefore, there are a lot of holidaymakers with children. However, there is another reason why the Ureks are chosen: the black sands of therapeutic, positively influence the joints, the heart, carrying and children with cerebrals.
The sand is really magical, it's nice to dig in it, and just sort out in your hands. Although I usually treat such entertainment with bewilderment. But here everyone was buried in turn. Perhaps the only drawback is very much heated in the sun. Go through it without shoes is simply impossible. But this is a plus: the sea here heats up faster than in Batumi or Poti.
It would seem that in Ureki is the perfect vacation. But no, everything is not so simple. In the evening it seemed that the village was simply extinct: neither fruit buy, nor children entertain. And we found only three working cafes. This is definitely the cost of starting the season. All are busy construction, repair, preparation, because the summer always comes unexpectedly (it was sarcasm).
Attempting to order milk and eggs at the local trader with vegetables fruit fell safely, because milk was brought to us diluted twice.
In general, if you like the beach holiday and suits the choice of three cafes - then the Ureki is not the worst choice. But we became boring on the second day, so we sat on the car and went to the neighboring Kobuleti. There is a good market, including, there you can buy home cheeses, and a chance, and other Georgian delicacies. And for children there is an amusement park, however, in the low season, he also did not work.
With dinners, we did this: leaving the track and drove up to the nearest village. There are selling freshly angled trout, cambal and other fish. This is on the one side of the road. And from the opposite side, there are numerous cafes, which, among other things, serve and fish.
Well, then we just fled south to stay near Batumi. Still, so quiet rest is not for us. Although many holidaymakers with young children come here from year to year and very satisfied.
