Skadovsk we did not choose for summer holidays. We, so to speak, threw fate. My husband had a campaign for a week, and my child and I quickly had a chance and went all together. There is no difficulty getting to Skadovsk. It is possible to a minibus to the bus station. Or any train to Kherson, and there is already hand to hand. We arrived early in the morning and immediately began to look for a place where to stay. I did not book anything in advance, as there are no hotels or guesthouses there. On the fingers of one hand it is possible to read. These are mainly offers in the private sector. We also wanted, of course closer to the sea and the center. On our surprise we found a house where there are excellent rooms, with the euro repair and only 50 UAH per person per day. For a child for 3 years, oddly enough money did not take. We decided to eat themselves, so the place we chose with separately the kitchen. Declaring things we went to explore. In the very center of Skadovsk, there are two supermarkets - ATB and Fresh. Prices in which differed at times. ATB is located on Central Alea which leads to the beach, so there were always huge queues.
The beach itself is sandy, but a lot of jellyfish in the sea. And their number depends on the weather, but so that they are not at all, this does not happen. The sea itself is petty, for the child the most. But adult has to go for a long time to walk to depth.
Entertainment of course on the beach a lot. And bars for adults and trampolines and swing for children. Prices are acceptable, not higher than in their native Nikolaev.
The next day we went to Dolphinarium, which has not been opened in the city not so long ago.
From the center walking about half an hour. And there is no transport there any other than a taxi. There are a lot of visitors. The price of an adult ticket and a child over three years is the same - 200 UAH. But it is worth it. After a hourly view, you get a sea of emotions and adrenaline. For a fee there is an opportunity to take pictures with dolphins and ride through the pool.
For young people, there is an Ozon Nightclub, the entrance to which is symbolic 30 UAH. But go there both locals and vacationers. Therefore, sometimes there is simply no place even to turn around.
In general, the rest passed with a bang. If you go well to spend your holiday with your family, then this is the very thing!
