The first unforgettable impression of a visit to the city produces a beach that extends around the perimeter of the entire spa town. This is the most important, eliminated by a small white sand coast. The blue and purity of water seems to be enjoying forever. Sunset in the water is smooth and shallow, the temperature is about +25, and maybe above. In my opinion, the most pleasant: perfectly refresses and does not give frozen. On the beach there are various restaurants and bars. Many of them belong to the hotel adjacent to the beach, but also a random passage can be used by their services. Prices, of course, is higher there than in other institutions, but what kind of sea!
As in some Asian countries, they offer massage and manual therapy services right on the seashore, for quite an acceptable price. I did not take a risk, but I really liked my friend's massage, even helped with his back.
The second, which made the impression, is a street called "5th Avenue". That's just a paradise for shopping lovers! The whole street and donated with various shops: souvenir shops with exclusive handmade products; Small shops with various magnets, openwrites and other junk, which we are taken from traveling as a gift to a gift; Shops with beach accessories, swimsuits and other rags (from cheap Chinese junk to quite good quality products); Shops with brand clothing (prices are much lower compared to Russian); Perfume shops at the prices of "Duti-fries", and others, all and do not list! I would know in advance about such a gorgeous choice, would take a suitcase more than more.
I can not write about the fact that this is a great place for lovers to eat. Only the same 5th Avenue can cause surprise variety and the number of restaurants and bars. I personally disassembled my eyes, I did not know what kind of place to choose, because you do not eat everything! At first, of course, they stopped in the Mexican restaurant. It looks very bright and attractive. Mariachi musicians played in the institution, offered national songs to order, raised some of those who wish to dance, dressed mexican sombrero on them and photographed into memory. Ordered "Fakhitas" - fried meat with vegetables, is fed on a hissing, hot frying. Completed day dinner in one French cafe. Very cozy, cute, calmly (for a variety).
Playa del Carmen will like the lovers of night institutions, noisy music, discos, so that this city is completely unacted. At night, the resort turns into a real holiday, regardless of whether it is the middle of the week, or the weekend. Music sounds everywhere, promoters try to lure each into their club. We have passed from one institution to another. I did not have to miss, it was fun, walked until the morning!
In a nutshell, rest at the resort made a strong impression, in a positive sense! It is a pity that there were only 4 days there. It seemed that these days were not quite enough, I would like to come back!
