Hello, I want to share with you impressions that stayed with me after an air-excursion to Corfu Island, which Mouzenidis Travel offers. Despite the fact that the flight is not long, on board the aircraft we were offered light snacks and refreshments.
The uniqueness of this trip is that as part of half an hour we got to the destination, from where our wonderful tour of the island began.
Corfu can be bolden by the "Treasure of Greece". So as the island of Corfu is not captured by the Turks, the architecture of the island combines the Venetian and English-French elements from which he gets its name "Greek Venice". Among significant attractions, I would notice the residence of the Austro-Hungarian Empress Elizabeth - the most beautiful Palace of Achilleon, about whose stories you will tell you the guide, and the biggest area in Greece is a spinda flap.
An unforgettable picture will remain in your memory after a walk along Lafon Street, which is famous for its similarity with a fairly famous street in Paris Ryu de Rivoli. Also during the excursion, we visited the Church of St. Spiridon, the patron saint of all travelers, where we had the opportunity to bow to his relics.
Next, we met the Vasilakis family, which from year to year is famous for the production of delicacies cooked from Kumquat (small orange), such as: jelly, liquor, jam, glazed fruits. Interestingly, this fruit was able to take care of Corfu.
Another striking spectacle we watched while walking on a boat with a glass bottom, where we plunged into the atmosphere of the underwater world.
On this excursion, a delicious lunch was included in the tavern near the port, after which we had a little free time to stroll and explore the island on their own.
