Hello everybody! I would like to tell you about your journey to Corfu Island, namely, the excursion that Mouzenidis offers. Just the second year is given such a unique opportunity to visit the Italian city of Bari, on air-excursions, the duration of which in general is one day. I learned about this excursion on the company's website and since we were fully planned to be held in Greece, and our choice fell on Corfu Island, which I have already written about in previous stories. Visit Bari by plane is a truly unique opportunity.
In the morning you are taken by bus and are brought to the airport. Very convenient organization of the tour, when you drive up to the airport, you are already registered for flight and you can only get your boarding passages. The inspection passed instantly, did not have time to look around, as the landing had already been landing in the beautiful town of Bari. The flight went well, we were offered cool drinks and cookies.
Upon arrival, we met our guide-guide, and we immediately went to the most important and significant place of the city - the Basilica of Nicholas Wonderworker. Basilica looks just incredible, you need to see it with your own eyes to believe the existence of such a stunning place. Further, you go to the Divine Liturgy, in Russian, and after you you will have a unique opportunity will be touched upon the Malicing relics of St. Nicholas. Such an event, for sure, happens not often in life, it is truly a special experience. Special mystery that you can survive with other people who are with you next to the temple, but at the same time deep personally, inside your soul. You can ask for the most important in the great saint. Then you go on a meal in a nice Italian restaurant, where you will be offered delicious dishes of Italian cuisine, salads, spaghetti, delicious wines. And then you are waiting for an amazing walk through the town of Bari. Little narrow streets, Greek quarters, local attractions - all this incredibly passes the atmosphere of this town. Enjoying acquaintance with the city, you again return to the Basilica, it is already detailed to listen to the history of this amazing place in detail. The last paragraph from the attractions that we visited was the Russian monastery compound, where the mass of shrines is also located. After that, by a friendly composition, you are going to the airport, from where you return to Greek land. The excursion takes the whole day, but it is truly one of the significant days in our life.
