Vorgin-Olymp Dion

They wanted to share their impressions about the excursion "Vigorlan-Olympus Dion", I am a fan of Greek mythology, always dreamed of visiting Mount Olympus. You could have gotten on individual transport or with a tussing. I recommend going on a tour, it is much more convenient - travel on a comfortable bus with air conditioning, accompanied by a guide historian, speaking in Russian, with Wi-Fi. Selected an excursion from Muzenidis Travel - Vigorlan-Olymp Dion. The path took about 3 hours and the first stop was the city of Vorgin. In this city there is a tomb of Philip, Father Alexander Macedonsky. The burial, to surprise, was not looted and all items found in the burial are stored in the museum, there. Highly impressed the wreath of the king, created from gold in 24 carats in the form of twisted branches of oak, with the finest leaves and fruits. About him still say that who will find two bees in oak branches, will be happy.

Further, our path lay to the archaeological zone - the city of Dion. Now the city is a park with dilapidated buildings, but clearly visible the outlines of the residential part of the ancient city. The Roman baths, Antique Odeon and the Palace of Dionysis have also been preserved. At the third stop we were waiting for the legendary Olympic mountain ridge. We got great pleasure after raising the observation platform, which is located at an altitude of more than 1000 m above sea level. From it opened a magnificent view of the steepled mountains and turquoise Aegean Sea.

The trip left unforgettable impressions. More such excursions! I advise everyone!
