Well, that ended our journey to Greece, which we expected so long. The rest was excellent, the choice of the Chalkidiki Peninsula was very successful, and the place of Sithonia was real "Green Sea". We say as such a number of greenery we just did not expect to see.
But I want to share our impressions of the trip that will always remain in our memory as something very light and intimate. Amazing excursion "by holy places of thessalonik." We love to visit monasteries and pilgrimages for us at home this is as a mandatory part of our life, on this and on vacation it was very interesting.
Our hotel guide Alexander, we kindly told them about their routes were not enough, but especially we were interested in pilgrimage trips from the pilgrim center "Solun", we were surprised by the fact of the presence of such a choice of programs. The next pleasant surprise for us were guides with theological education, but the most pleasant for us was that it was on our ride a guide was a mother.
We will forever remember this trip, really such trips change the fate of people. We looked many temples in Thessaloniki, were at Dmitry Solunsky, Fedor Mirochiva, Sofia Wisdom of God, fell into the catacombs of the Baptist, and were very written by the temple of Grigory Palaama, very significant theologian for the Orthodox world.
Then we had lunch in the meal with the oppression of one of the Athos monasteries, lunch was very tasty and we were presented with subtles from the Virgin. After we returned to the bus and went to the suburb of thessalonik to the monastery of Anastasia scholars, and then to the grave of the elder Paisius.
All shrines that we have seen do not count and do not describe words, but those emotions and great grace will remain in our heart forever. Many thanks to Mother for the care of us, for the work that comes from the heart and comes to the heart. We are very pleased with the organization of the trip, all the arrogants were diluted by the stories of Mother, we pilgriped in a very comfortable bus, everything went very easily and we returned with special feelings.
Once again we were convinced that the sacred place is not empty, because very holy land itself.
