In Sevastopol, I traveled with my family in June 2015. Our choice fell on this city because we wanted to watch the "city of Russian sailors" in half, well, and combine this event with rest on the beach.
Beach in Sevastopol and its surroundings are many, and pebble, and sandy, and even concrete. We, mostly rested on the city beach in the sandy bay. There is a very comfortable bathing place with children - a small depth of the sea and a small sand on the beach. What else is important when relaxing with children - there is a medical center on the beach.
We planned to travel to Baliman Beach, but we were told that only vacationers from nearby sanatoriums allow this beach, whether it really was, we did not check.
In general, despite the fact that Sevastopol is not officially official in the resort, the beach holiday there is good - first of the first many beaches, secondly clean water. Even one of the Russian Empress, in my opinion, Catherine The second, called it crystally clean.
Of course, it was not without a maritime excursion by Sevastopol bays. We looked at how the sights of the city from the sea look like, picked the warships.

In the search for urban entertainment, we, of course, were focused on the interests of the child, therefore, among the first, Sevastopol Dolphinarium visited. I liked the child, he was delighted with the speech of dolphins and sea cats.
We also visited the Water Park "Zurbagan", but, frankly, he was not impressed, quite simple. Yes, and the water was pretty cool.
In the number of cultural events, we included a visit to the port, it was, first of all, my desire, since I was in my time lived for three years in Murmansk and I have a three-year-old maritime work experience, so I really wanted to look at the work of the Sevastopol Seaport.
Since one of the main goals of our trip was the desire to get in touch with the military glory of Sevastopol, we could not not visit the Museum of the Black Sea Fleet and Malakhov Kurgan. We also looked at the "Defense of Sevastopol" panorama and Mikhailovsky Ravelin.
In general, we liked the trip to Sevastopol, and we will definitely come there yet.
