Goa - Travel to Exotics

Anonim

Goa is so popular among Russians that the authorities of India, on the one hand, simplified the visa regime for Russian citizens, and on the other hand, they already show discontent with the dominant, in their opinion, Russians in Goa.

I was in Northern Goa (in South Goa, a more expensive holiday) on the beach Mordezhim, who is called the Russian village, which causes dissatisfaction with the Indian authorities, as they believe that there should be no Russian villages in Indian Earth.

Goa lies on the shores of the Arabian Sea, which is warm all year round. The beach is good, wide, sandy, it was possible to rent a scooter or bugs and ride on it. The beach is freely roaming cows, considered in India sacred animals.

Hotels in Goa not top quality, the one in which I lived was not enough clean, the water from the crane had some unpleasant odor and insufficient pressure.

Tourist tours and there are practically not organized tourist tours and there, mostly, the Russians are going to India independently, without the help of travel firms. In Mordzhim, a network of service, restaurants, massage salons and so on is not developed. Tourists eat there mainly in the sequins, this is something like a street cafe. They look unprepacently, but they feed there pretty tasty.

The main entertainment, this ride on the rented scooter in the nearby surroundings. One of the most memorable was a trip to the Chapor's River - solid exotic. As in the adventure films, the river with shores, overgrown with palm trees, the aborigines are swimming on it, they make something do incomprehensible, erased in the river, prepare food.

Shopping in Goa is interesting, but mostly consumer goods. There are many exotic goods, but I do not really understand them. I personally bought pearls, natural and tea silk.

In general, I had the impressions of the trip mostly positive. The Arabian Sea is part of the Indian Ocean and I was pleased to feel the resting on the ocean. And some household inconvenience I was ready to suffer for the beauty of nature and exotic.

The disadvantages are some unsanitary and the annoying of merchants. And poverty, very striking.
