We decided to go for exploration in Bulgaria. View what is there and how. But there was no money at that time. Therefore, we did not even consider Sunny Beach and Golden Sands, but chose budget options. Another condition was to look at the same eye on Istanbul. As a result, we chose the city Soopol - This is the southern part of Bulgaria.
We drove the bus, so there was also a transit visa through Romania, but there were no problems with this - they bought a batch tour through the travel agency and they did all visa issues on their own. We were only able to collect suitcases and transfer a long bus trip. I will say right away - the husband said that it was the first and last time (bus trips). It was hard for me, and he is so in general hell - the legs are long and there were nowhere to do. But all the bad ever ends - we arrived at the sea!
So that it was cheaper, we chose a small hotel in a distance from the beach. It's not long, but you need. Especially since the city is not on a flat surface.
Beach Big and wide enough. It has a paid zone with sun beds and umbrellas and the free part, you needed to come with your own. The beach itself is clean, the entrance to the water is gentle (pits or spit). There were standard water entertainment. Water is clean and transparent (visible bottom).
Entertainment. Although Sozopol and not so promoted resort town, but it also has something busy. The central part is a very old town, which has been many centuries. It is very interesting to look and see. I really liked to walk through the narrow streets paving broken.
On the central square every day various entertainment and concerts were held. Not far from the city there is a river Ropotamo on which boats are floating and you can go to admire the nature, there is very beautiful and unusual.
Food. We tried to walk on non-promoted institutions. And they were tasty prepared and portions were huge. A couple of times went to restaurants that were very praised. So we didn't like it very much - the kitchen to taste is inferior to local cafes and the portion is much more modest. In general, for the tick went and understood that it was not always that more expensive - tastier.
Of Local Delicates I liked the jam from rose or from figs, especially the second. Also sell a lot of cheese and some local cheese (we did not like it). And, of course, ice cream! I have not barely barely barely. They took another local beer - but it was ordinary, nothing special. I recommend that Musaku, Tomatoen, Kebhachtu and the Tarator be sure to try from dishes.
I also want to say that we did not go to Istanbul. It was very difficult way to go there, and still had to come back. Therefore, we were just resting all week and enjoyed the sun, by sea and local delicious.
