This year we planned to stay in Yalta to go to the Tulip Parade, which begins in April in the Botanical Garden in Nikita. Plans have changed a bit when we learned that our friends just at this time rest in Massandra, where they take a room at the villa Catherine. They are so "appetizing" described their holidays and place of residence that we decided to join them and see everything with our own eyes.
In general, Massandra is a great Yalta district, and if you look at the city from the sea, Massandra is on the right of the embankment, a little further by the hotel "Intourist". We traveled to Massandra from the Central Bus Station of Yalta, on the road (and the expectation of the bus) left no more than 15 minutes.
Our place of residence was a little higher than the Massandra Park, and, in my opinion, this is one of the most successful locations. Although our plans did not enter the beach (after all, April is still very unpredictable for the weather, and the day the day can range from +6 to +23), however, we descended almost every day to the sea, and The road to the beach took place through a very beautiful park. Such a walk to the sea in the park is already like a separate excursion - in the park a lot of colors, alleys with benches, high cypresses and olives, and there are always a lot of holidaymakers and tourists near the palace.
Beach in Massandra Even in one row with the beaches of Yalta, it is impossible to deliver. It is clean, equipped, well-groomed. There are sheds from the sun, sun loungers, showers and locker rooms. Perhaps we were just not there at the height of the season, but in Yalta, even in the "not season", the beach looks repulsively: around the coast, cigarettes, grizzles, caps from bottles are lying ... For myself, I concluded that even if you stop next time In the center of Yalta, then we will ride the beach only in Massandra.
One of the attractions of the Massandra can be called a local wine plant. There is also a winemaking museum. Wine connoisseurs, I highly recommend visiting the tour "Tasting of the Crimean Wine in Massandra", just do not forget to take something warm from clothing - in the basements is pretty cool, somewhere around +10 s, and if not tasting after visiting the museum, then we were completely frozen.
From Massandra to Nikitsky Botanical Garden to go for about ten minutes, we were there in our course and did not order a tour, because they already knew where and what is, and the main goal of visiting the garden was to enjoy the beauty of tulips.
It is better to highlight the whole day - there is insanely beautiful, and I don't want to leave at all. But those who are in the garden for the first time - it is better to order an excursion, otherwise you can skip the most interesting places - a bamboo grove, a pond with goldfish, cactus avenue and other sights of the garden.
It is a pity that we did not discover Massander even earlier and were limited to Yalta only. For the sake of impeccable Massandrovsky beaches, I am ready to come and stop now in Massandra.
