Andorra is a small country that is not included in the European Union zone. She has no airports and railway stations, and therefore we need to get a visa with a double entrance. But these troubles are nothing compared with the fact that it is one of the best ski resorts and a great place for shopping!

We always live in a small village of Pas de la Casa, which at an altitude of 2100 m above sea level. I would say that this village is at the beginning of the ski area. The global advantage of the Grandvalira skiing complex is that all mountains are interconnected into one riding zone. And if you go to the goal, you can take a day in a day completely to the other side and return back, naturally without stopping on one descent, otherwise you may not have time to return to the closure of the tracks (and then guess the round sum of the taxi driver).
All the tracks at night are randics and in the morning they have 100% willingness.
If there is a desire, you can ride at unprepared tracks (Freeride). To do this, you need to rise on the lift and move a little to the side or start the descent and leave the road zone.
Lifts. All of them are new and fast, and their sufficient quantity, and therefore there are no queues on them. Maximum that we stood this minutes 5. Almost all kinds of lifts are presented: pills (length of them is not more than 100 m), chair (from 2-seater up to 6) and funicamps.
Arriving at the end of the ski season, you can buy yourself an outfit at a very good price. Andorra itself is the Duty Free zone, so the prices in it are very good (a lot of Spaniards and French travel here on shopping), and also plus discounts by graduation.
Safety. I recommend not to regret money and buy insurance from local. Because we had problems with our office. The hospital did not receive payment and, accordingly, did not let go of the patient (I had to pay for cash, the benefit of such money was, and already in return to deal with the insurance).
