In December 2015, our family visited Nha Trang for the second time. Before that we were here in 2013. The city is located on the shores of the South China Sea, the climate is comfortable here for almost all year round. Both times we rested in the rainy season, which lasts from mid-October to mid-December. At this time, precipitation falls a little more, and there are often big waves at sea. It did not prevent us from a great rest, the rains go warm and briefly temporary, there are several pools on the city beach, you can swim in them if the waves do not allow you to swim in the sea. In addition, the price of vouchers at this time is a little cheaper. Both times we lived in two-star hotels, quite clean and cozy, if we compare these hotels with a three-star, in which we lived in Thailand, then the twins are even more domestic.
Nha Trang is a very beautiful and comfortable city, of course it concerns the tourist zone. Water here is quite clean, especially if we compare with Pattaya.
Sand on the city beach redhead, but nearby is the islands with snow-white sand. In Nha Trang there are many attractions that can be visited by yourself, the most famous of them are the Cham Towers on Nagar, Cape Chong Chon, Long Sean Pagoda, Catholic Cathedral, mud sources.
Not far from the city is the Vinpearl Island, there can also be reached independently. The ticket to the island costs about $ 20, it includes a cable car and all entertainment that is on the island, food and drinks will need to be bought separately. Of the entertainment, the most interesting is the water park, the oceanarium, the dolphinarium, the fountain show, also on the island there is a clean beach with a white sand.
Nha Trang is just a paradise for seafood lovers. Here you will find a huge variety of delicious and fresh delicacies. On the first coastline, there are many establishments, where the living gifts of the sea are swimming right in the pelvices and aquariums, which can catch and cook right in your eyes.
In the center, the sea is quite high prices, it is better to go away, there is much cheaper. The price of one dish is 2-7 dollars. If you do not like the local cuisine, you can easily find institutions with Russian and Italian cuisine.
In 2013, I was pleasantly surprised by the prices in Nha Trang, but after falling the ruble, they are the average as in the largest cities of Russia. So, in 2015, we had to save on shopping. Vietnam's currency - Dong, one hundred dollars is about 2,000,000 dong, it is not very convenient to get used to these zeros.
Travel agencies offer many interesting excursions, an average price $ 25 per person, the most of all the Dalat and the Northern Islands remember. We always take the excursions from local travel agencies, as they are cheaper than the domestic tour of the operators.
In general, I have only positive impressions about Nha Trang, if possible, I will definitely visit again.
