Kamenets-Podolsky - Promotion to the history of Ukraine

Anonim

I went to this amazing city of Western Ukraine with a girlfriend and its five-year-old son. I got early in the morning, hungry and frozen, I had to warm the coffee with cognac. Breed in a small cafe near the market. Frying potatoes, chop, coffee with brandy cost me 70 UAH, very inexpensive and tasty. Have fun and went for a walk. Everywhere went on foot, a little tedious, especially if climbing under the hill. Tip: To visit Kamenets-Podolsky, shoes should not be easy without heels, but very comfortable. I was just as I thought: moccasins on a thin sole. It was my huge mistake - walking on the pavement stones, when you practically barefoot - it is very painful. I had to buy me sneakers in the local market, and this is time, and money.

The first pleasant shock happened to me on the way from the market to the fortress: when you go on the bridge and look down, these types of what captures the spirit!

The entrance to the castle is paid, but this board is purely symbolic. We climbed every turret, every ladder and basement, went around all museums. Everything is very interesting, I liked everything. But the biggest delight was in the eyes of the child, especially when he shot a crossbow or bow. With children, especially boys, I certainly need to go here.

Museums on the territory of the castle are interesting, some can be visited for free, some for symbolic money. There are guns, and weapons, and armor - paradise for boys. If you look into the window of one of the towers, you can see the sundial of huge stones. We argued for a long time, what it is, until you thought to ask the employee. But the biggest impression remained from one of the rooms where they were tortured. Now there are wax figures of prisoners. No matter how trying to photograph them - it does not come out! Blurred shots are obtained, as if something flies over the figures. Actually, I do not believe in that, but even now, when you recover goosebumps.

We also visited several chostels in Kamenets-Podolsky and the Museum of Money. You can stay in one of numerous hotels or rent a room from private traders who themselves are suitable at the station and offer to live with them. But we were passage, so I went on in the evening.
