Do you love Salou as I love him? Once I had the opportunity to go around Catalonia and Majorca, I visited all resorts, but I truly love only Salou. Therefore, for the next family trip, we, without thinking, chose this particular Spanish place.
We stayed at the hotel near Europe (resort center), booked there apartments with two rooms, so flew through the whole family: I, my husband, our son and my mom. It was very convenient, as we all lived in different rooms and at the same time had the opportunity to prepare a kid in the room. Almost every day we went to the nearest supermarket and bought fruits there, milk, yogurts, etc. In the evenings, we had rather quietly, since all the entertainment places were located in the other side of the resort.
To the sea, we went 7-10 minutes by a slow step along cafes and shops. There was no one's beach from our hotel, because in Salou almost all the beaches municipal. We rented 2 umbrellas on the beach and 4 beds for 30 euros, and sometimes sunbathe just on towels. Almost every day we rode on the catamaran for 10 euros per hour. Our kid was very comfortable there, as in Salou sandy beaches and a gentle entrance to the sea.
In September, the weather was good, without rains, but in the evening for a walk we went out in jackets. The temperature of the water in the sea was about 24 degrees.
Breakfast and dinner was included in our hotel, and we always have lunch in different cafes and restaurants. The middle check per person was about 20 euros. Spain is an amazing country, since here water is more expensive than wine. The bottle of water cost approximately 3 euros, and the Sangia liter package from 1.5 euros.
Of course, we visited the port of Aventure and delighted this famous entertainment park. And we and our son, and my mother found in this huge fleet of entertainment. We rode attractions, watched the colorful shows, rode on the park in the park, took pictures with cartoon characters and received great pleasure from what is happening.
We also went to the nearby town of Cambrils, where there is a lot of delicious fish restaurants. Here you can dine with fresh fish right on the waterfront with a stunning view of the sea. And in La Pineda we visited the water park Aquapolis, which we also liked very much.
At the end of the rest, we traveled on the train (1 hour and 40 minutes) went to Barcelona to just walk along this beautiful city and admire his beauty. The train arrives at almost the area of Catalonia, where we went shopping El Corte Ingles (shopping center) and there also donate on the top floor with panoramic windows.
I will definitely return to Salou even times, because I think this resort is one of the best in the world!
