How to get to Pattani:
By car
Consider the situation that you need to get from Bangkok. Pattani has its own airport that serves Thai Airways International and Thai Airways flights. Located at about 15 kilometers from the city center approximately 15 kilometers from the city center. By train
In the city of Pattani, there is no train station, but by train Southern Line Thai state railway lines you can get to these edges and land around 30 kilometers from the city. The so-called "Pattani Station" (in official trains), in fact, a very small railway station and is located in the area of Khok Po in Pattani Province. From there to the city follow buses and taxis.
You can enter the station Yala (next stop on the line), respectively, in the neighboring city of Yala, located 35 kilometers from Pattani. This station is much more than the previous one. We go to the train station, turn right and pass to the end of this street. Somewhere around the corner you should see the red buses, which will take you to Pattani for 25-30 baht. You can, of course, also take a taxi that will stand next to the railway station.In any case, a ride from Bangkok to Pattani Long, and therefore only night trains are available. However, there are also special expressions from Bangkok - they leave for about 3 pm and at 11 o'clock in the evening and arrive in Pattani at about 9 am and at 2 o'clock the day, and in Yal for half an hour later. By bus

The preferred method of moving along the province and the city is a motorcycle. Actually, this is how many locals are moved - you can, it means to tourists. For example, to sit on a motor-taxi (Mot-Ter-Sai), which can be caught anywhere in the city - you just need to pay attention to men in green vests, well, or stop and wait for transport in certain places.

For example, it is safe to say that you will find a Moto taxi (or even two) next to the entrance of most hotels (especially since they are all anything), next to the hospital, the market and other public places. Trains on such a taxi will cost you in the amount of 10 to 50 baht, depending on the prerequisite distance. And you can also get to Tuk Tuka - a fairly well-known practice in Pattani. True, the passage on this miracle transport will cost a little more than on the Motto taxi, but this is a more convenient way, especially if you have luggage with you.
Pattani is not a very big city, and most of it can be easily bypass. So that you imagine the size of the city will say that you can pass the whole city in just 40-45 minutes. Perhaps the walking is the best way to navigate in the town. Nevertheless, you should understand that walking on Pattani City is not so convenient, and the sidewalks are used here for everything, but often not for pedestrians (sometimes motorcyclists are ride or there are shopping shops, tables and even indoor plants, which will be difficult to get around).
