The eight-storey hotel on the northeast coast of the island offers well-equipped rooms with a good design and breathtaking views of the bay. Although the design is, of course, it says loudly. The hotel is fifty rooms, and all of them are super-simple, with strong low beds from a dark wood (possibly without a back), simple furniture (a la Soviet apartment), not a particularly modern TV, carpet flooring on the floor. In short, what is called "Deluxe", in fact, the same, the same thing as the usual number, except, a little more. But in general, the rooms, although not super-cool, clean and pretty cozy. The hotel has no pool, spa center, sauna, shuttle. However, this is not so trouble. And also, the hotel is in a certain distance from all the sights of the island (In The Middle of Nowhere, as tourists complain). Because at least there is free Wi-Fi and breakfast with a good choice. The hotel is not so popular, but tourists from Great Britain, Germany and other European countries will often settle in it.
ATLANTIC TUAN CHAU Hotel 3 *
This hotel is 300 meters from the previous one, on the same street, but just south. Extremely similar to Hidden Charm is the same carpet, simple furniture, about the same number. But in general, a little better, and the rooms are prettier. True, the center is still better to go by taxi. There is a restaurant where it is cooked quite tasty, but you have to order food, probably for 3 hours so that the workers go to the market and buy enough products. However, breakfasts - a buffet - there is, however, without tea or coffee (only orange juice and water). All rooms are clean and fairly cozy - typical treshka. Elevator Old - buttons barely pressed; Wi-Fi is weak, on cable TV few channels. This option is more often preferred by Vietnamese.
Hoa Binh Ha Long Hotel 3 *
Very good bright three-star hotel for 50 rooms. I would say six out of ten. It is two steps away from Atlantic Tuan Chau Hotel, so, as usual, everyone complains that the hotel is removed from civilization (to all entertainment to go by taxi for 200,000 dongs). It may well be so that you will be almost the only guests of the hotel. At the moment, except for breakfasts at the hotel, no food (shops, at least). The staff would have to learn English. But in general, the hotel offers quite comfortable rooms and a relaxed atmosphere - the most for those who come to the island on the day.
Tuan Chau Morning Star Hotel 4 *
This is one of the best hotels in the island. The difference in comparison with the three-star hotels is obvious. The hotel at 106 rooms is located relatively close to the two of the above hotels, in close proximity to the island of Lao Kau, between the beach and the entertainment center of the island. Morning Star is impeccable service and all necessary amenities for a good rest, like free Wi-Fi in all rooms, 24-hour front desk, jacuzzi, Golf courses (within 3 km), outdoor pool, karaoke bar, Banquet hall, restaurant, etc. Before you have mercy, ask the room overlooking the bay (and then can give with a view of the hill). Great bed linen, sturdy dark wood furniture, spacious and even cute rooms. Of course, it is felt that the hotel is not new - some modernity, nevertheless, not enough, but the option is worthy.TUAN CHAU ISLAND HOLIDAY VILLA HALONG BAY 4 *
This option is even better! The resort complex is well-furnished villas with a total of almost 250 rooms that are hiding among green lushes and palm trees. Some villas have sea views. Plus there is a spa, tennis court, an outdoor pool, a restaurant and a bar. The design of the villas is beautiful, and significantly different from previous hotels: light, stylish, clean, unusual. On the beach exit directly from the room, and even to the main entertainment is not so far. Of the minuses, there are no shops, prices in bars on the island are obviously overestimated. Breakfast could be much more diverse, although, in general, not bad. Since the island is constantly being built up, beautiful landscapes can be combined with a construction and garbage.
Paradise Suites Hotel 4 *
And this is probably the best hotel on the whole island. It is located on the southeast coast of the island. Spacious suites are furnished with dark wood furniture, there are air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, a bathroom with marble. Below is your own tour desk; Laundry services are available on request; Parking is free. It is a very beautiful and very stylish hotel - for those who are accustomed to luxury, better option for all island not to find. What is still good? Delicious and varied breakfast, live music in the evenings, comfortable beds, double room cleaning, top-level service, free transfer from Hanoi. Modest, but interesting hotel is almost in the center of the eastern coast of the hotel. The hotel has only 22 rooms, among them spacious family rooms. Design Pleasant: White painted brick walls, black window frames, tiled floors (this, of course, spoils a little bit), strong beds with mosquito nets, pictures on the walls. Breakfast is served, free Wi-Fi, parking. Very similar to the situation in the bungalow. A pretty room for two overlooking the garden can be booked about $ 25-27. Very worthy and inexpensive option (at least better and newer than other island tres).
HUONG BIEN HALONG 2 *
Ordinary hotel at 17 rooms in the central part of the island, closer to the east coast. Very cheap - the number for two can be removed in just 15-17 dollars. The rooms are simple, but more and more modern, clean, bright, even with some design. There are family rooms for 4-5 people. Laundry - on request. Free Wi-Fi in all rooms.
