Tuangau Island is located in the southwest of Halong Bay. The island covered with pine forests two kilometers from the mainland, with an area of 7.6 square kilometers, almost a 3-km long and 2-kilometer in the widest place, is famous, first of all, with its two artificial beaches in the east and south - with very white and Very small sand - and entertainment.
Earlier, only representatives of public services and the military were on the island, but at present the tion has become a luxurious modern holiday destination and one of the most popular tourist destinations in Halong. In feudal time for the royal army on the island, a security station was built for patrol and protection of borders (tuanga is at an important position, at the beginning of the waterways of the Thanglong system, Bach Dang and Van Don).
