Rotterdam and North Riviera

Having gone to meet Holland, having lived a few days in Amsterdam, plunging into the crazy rhythm of the life of his inhabitants, visiting the famous day of the king, I went on to learn cities and resorts to the Netherlands. Rotterdam is located just 70 kilometers from Amsterdam. Therefore, the path was not tedious, abandoned things in a small hotel and went to get acquainted with the city.

Rotterdam is one of the large port cities of the Netherlands. Very beautiful and unusual. There are very few old architectural buildings (because the city was built after the Second World War), but the city at first glance makes fall in love with himself.

I started my walk on the embankment of the old harbor, a very beautiful place, swim a small boat together with ducks that are not completely afraid of them. The square, which was located nearby, attracted my attention with modern architectural monuments, could not consider them very well, since on the square a thorough cleaning after the celebration of the King's Day.

Then I went to look at the famous cubic houses. This can be seen only here, a very unusual solution. If my memory does not change, there are only 64 things. These cubes seem toys, rise near the noisy road. In one of these houses, I, of course, looked. The furniture there was the same unusual as the houses themselves, the furniture was as designed specifically for cubic houses.

After I decided to ride the Erasmus bridge, examined on the sides, was surprised that small pieces of sushi rise almost in the middle of the river. Ordinary houses rise, as if nothing had happened. I arrived at the New York Hotel, where I covered new bright impressions. Not far from him was harvested the huge liner ... I have never seen this, 13 decks just wow !!!! Compared to him, I felt ant.

Well, of course, how not to go to the hotel itself. Entering the inside, no one even paid attention, at the entrance there was a small cafe, people sat, talked, someone went to someone, someone drank coffee, and someone simply read a fresh newspaper.

Very surprised me as well as in Rotterdam, however, as in other cities of the Netherlands, the ducks go to parks, pass parts as we have cats. At first, it was wild, constantly photographed them, and then I got used to and have already had no particular interest to me.

Walking along the streets of the city you can find many modern, sometimes not very understandable, in my opinion, a monument.

I didn't find anything else interesting for myself, so I went on a tour of the famous Delft and Hague. The distance between cities is not very large, so you can go and see other cities. Delft - impressed me with his buildings, he is famous for his porcelain. There are also a lot of modern monuments in the city, but here there are also many old memos of architecture, the deft is called the Museum under the open sky, and I fully agree with it.

Walked around the market square, looked at the town hall, and I also managed to look into one of the shops, where porcelain products are presented and went further into the path.

The next point was the Hague. What can you see here? A lot of government buildings, of course, could not miss the Parliament Building, the Palace of the World, where the UN International Court of Justice meets the Queen's residence. Everything is purely well-groomed, flowers bloom around, and hovers a pleasant atmosphere. On the way to the Palace of the Peace passed on the road a fucked flags of all countries of the UN.

Very beautiful town, many parks and gardens, and each other differs from each other with the design of trees, everything is carefully trifling and looks attractive.

The last point of my visit was the North Riviera, a small resort village of Scheveningen.

Getting to it is very simple, on the tram that goes from the Hague, 10 minutes in the way and we are in place. With the weather, I was not very lucky, because it was cool, and even a very strong wind had a very strong wind from the sea, but it was necessary to walk along the embankment. Cafes, restaurants running in the sea Pirs with restaurants, beautiful buildings, everything has a great rest!
