There is no public transport on the island, except for bicycles and motorbikes. But even they are not particularly needed, because the main tourist area of the island can be waged on foot, well, if you want to move to another beach, the easiest way to use the boat (at the same time, you have to negotiate, because there is no "water taxi" here yet).
However, if you have a strength and desire, you can watch the jungle hour and a half hours (if you can manage it, then you can manage), from the center to the southern or northern beaches. Here you will find perfect idyll: Local residents of Tikhonechko are engaged in agriculture, drive cows and goats, catch fish! And the whole island, even in its most developed part, quiet and idyllic - here you are unity with nature. The largest beach island, Pasir Panjang, is located on the east side - it is here that half a dozen resorts are built, and it is here that you will find everything you need for a comfortable stay.
