The island of Ko Lan is not an arrangement from Pattaya, just 30 - 40 minutes by sea on the ferry. This is a great beach holiday location. The island is impressive with its beauty, namely white sand and azure, transparent, like a tear with water. We bought a tour to Thailand with placement in Pattaya, but on Ko Lan were very frequent guests.
On the perimeter of the island there are several beaches, they are all very different, there are even not equipped with a man's hand. There you can listen to the sound of waves on one with you, enjoy the sea scenery, bring thoughts in order. And you can first arrange a romantic picnic.
There are beaches with well-developed infrastructure - with sun beds, umbrellas, cafes and restaurants. We stayed delighted with Hat Ta Waen Beach. On this beach is a lot of entertainment, we have rolled out the hydrocycle and flew over the sea. By the way, advice to everyone, do not deny yourself the pleasure of making a flight on a parachute. What you will see from above, not describe in words. Also on Hat Ta Waen, you can climb the mountain and look at the island from her height.
The only minus is exactly this beach - there are always a lot of people there, and if you come there not from the morning, the place will not be found. On the beach "Hat Ta Waen" there are many Thai masseuse women. For the symbolic price, you can get a magic foot massage.
In addition to the beach holiday on the island of Ko Lan, there is nothing to do. It makes sense to walk time. Look at the cute streets, interesting design hotels and cafes, look into the benches with souvenirs. We somehow took the rental of bikes and simply ride their own on our own. In Pattaya, a lot of movement, and even left-sided, scary not a local person to sit behind the wheel. And on the island we broke off the full - the road there are half empty.
Next to the pier where the ferry moor, there is a large fish market and seafood. Everything is very fresh there, even a living, and worth a penny. True, the smell is terrible. And for a separate cost right there, seafood on the grill is prepared. We bought royal shrimps and crabs - left satisfied.
Of course, as an independent resort - the island of Ko Lan is a bit boring, but resting in Pattaya must be worth it.
