For the first acquaintance with Thailand, Pattaya is ideal. This is the most exciting center of Thailand, there are many excursions and close to the nearest islands, where white sands and clear sea.
On the first evening we went to Walking Street. This place is fun with a variety of cafes, bars, restaurants, strip clubs and discos. Taxi from here almost anywhere in the city on scooters costs 100 baht (1 dollar = 33 baht).
For a couple of hundred bats you can see erotic shows with unlimited cocktails. Nothing special, but once it is worth visiting such entertainment.
On this street there is a good cafe Ensomnia, overlooking the sea, there are cheap prices and delicious Thai food.
Beaches in Pattaya, in my opinion, are not suitable for swimming. They are free and dirty, photos below close to Cosy Beach Hotel Pattaya, where we lived.
We traveled every day to Koh Larn Island, which is a 15-minute drive from Pattaya Pattaya Embankment (150 baht per person), or 50 minutes by ferry ride (30 baht per person). The ferry comes to one of the beaches of the island, the most crowded, on this 50 baht we drove to Tuk Tuka to other beaches (in my opinion 4). There you can take lounge chairs and umbrellas, but the feeling when each one of each other is at a distance of 10 cm does not impark me, therefore we always took food and drinks from the mainland and occupied the place in the shade under the trees. Having holidays there are very small, a calm and pleasant atmosphere.
Transport in the direction of the island begins to run at 9 am and until 18 pm every day.
For lovers, they will plunge into the real atmosphere of Asia there is advice: do not go to a big cafe with the Russian menu, there is more expensive, and not tasty. Try every day new places, small cafes, where the owners themselves work themselves. And be sure to try Ripe Pineapple Stuffed With Seafood Rice (average cost 150-200 baht).
Pattaya is an adapted Asia for Europeans, I advise everyone who rides the first time. Because the service, food and culture is very different from our and from the usual Turkey. Be careful with your personal things in public places, always bargain and smile, Thai love it.
