This is a wonderful place at the birmano-Thai border, on the shores of the Kwai River, we chose to visit even before they went to rest in Thailand.
We spent the main holiday time in Pattaya, and just for two days we went on a trip to the Kwai River, which is located 30 km from Myma (the old name of Burma). The entire package was worth 2,200 baht, in a local travel agency, the tour operator asked for the same excursion 3600 baht (1 dollar = 33 baht).
All photos presented here belong to this trip to the Asian jungle. The road in one direction takes about 5-6 hours. We left the hotel at 6 o'clock in the morning, breakfast with us with me, ordered him at the hotel 1 day before departure. Two hours later we stopped at the gas station where you could have a snack. To be honest, I no longer remember the order of stops, only emotions and impressions are preserved in the memory.
During this trip, we saw a lot of interesting things, visited the village of elephants, where we were ride on the elephants (about half an hour), showed the show of small elephants and allowed them to feed them with bananas.
We also visited one monastery, where it was possible to tie a bracelet for luck at the Thai monk (donation of the 20th bat) and to feed wild monkeys (bananas of 20 baht). Monkeys are a little aggressive, it is better not to approach them very close and not tease.
We visited the floating market, but there are all two, and even three times more expensive than in ordinary markets.
A separate admiration deserves a place where about a hundred thousand people died during the 2nd world war during the construction of the railway. This pilgrimage site of many tourists from all countries is called dear death. The beauty of landscapes captures the spirit of even the most sophisticated tourist. By the way, there is a cheap market where you can buy all souvenirs twice cheaper than in Pattaya.
In the evening of the first day we arrived at the hotel, which is located on the river. All wishing could spill up in the bottom of the river in the vests. It is better to take two bathing suit, because because of the big humidity, the clothes will not dry.

The second day we spent on the waterfall Erawan. They reached only up to 5 levels, out of 7 possible.
