Rhodes is the same capital of the island, the city is located at the Northern end of Rhodes. The main part of urban hotels is located along the coast, within the city there is quite equipped beaches - sun beds and umbrellas are waiting for you.
Pluses of accommodation directly in Rhodes are the following - there is something to do (several museums, the palace of masters, many cafes and bars), you can walk on the old town. And from the Rhodes it is easy to get to the nearest resorts and entertainment - from there the free bus to the water park is located, it is there that the port of Mandraki is located, from which the great many pleasure yachts and liners are sent.
In general, if you settle in Rhodes - you will not have to miss exactly, and on the evening there will always be a suitable lesson.
Cons - minuses of residence in Rhodes in general are typical - there are many people, many cars and not so much greens. If you are a lover of relaxing places and unity with nature, you are definitely not there.
ICCIA
A small resort located in close proximity to Rhodes (to the city of about four kilometers). Hotels are not right on the beach, but through the road. Beaches are also equipped, there is everything you need for a comfortable stay. There are not much people in ICSI, as in Rhodes, in general there is quieter. From infrastructure - many cafes, restaurants, there are bars and minimarkets. There are no attractions for them to go to Rhodes.
The advantages will take relative calm, as well as proximity to Rhodes - can be reached by taxi or bus in 10, a maximum of 15 minutes.
Cons - the beaches mostly pebble, the approach is not very comfortable. The Aegean Sea, there are often waves on it, it becomes even more difficult to go. But there are many windsurfers, they enter the sea away and train, by the way, there is a windsurfing school.
Faliraki
This is a resort town located on the other side of Rhodes - East, it is located on the Mediterranean Sea. One of the most noisy and youth resorts of the island is the most bars, discos and, of course, youth, which is there and having fun. If you are attracted to new acquaintances and parties - you go there.
Pluses are a lot of entertainment, the calm sea (Mediterranean is not so stormy as Aegean), proximity to the city of Rhodes (about 15 minutes by taxi), proximity to the water park.
Cons - for fans of silence will not work, too noisy.
Prasonisi.
This is not quite a resort, but rather one of the sights of the island. This is the place where the two seas merge. You will see a narrow ending, to the left of you there will be a relatively calm Mediterranean Sea, on the right - a stormy Aegean.
In the list of resorts I made prasonisi, because there is a small hotel (or rather even apartments), so it is quite possible to live. There are a couple of cafes, as well as minimarket. Other entertainment is absent in the pricing.
In my opinion, Prasonisi can attract those who are engaged in wisper (on the Aegean Sea surfers a lot), those who would like to swim in two seas, as well as those who would like to enjoy the peace and tranquility in the evening - people by this time travel around.
By the way, on the Mediterranean Sea is equipped with a comfortable beach with sun beds, umbrellas and souls, while the beach of the Aegean Sea is wild.

The breakfast option is the most expensive, since the prices in the taverns are not the smallest, and you will have to dine there and dinner (although I will make a reservation that if you are accustomed to eat little, you can easily take one portion for two - the benefit of the portions are big).

And finally, tell about the hotel in which we stopped. This is a four-star hotel in Iquali.
We lived there for two weeks, we had half board - breakfasts and dinners (by the way, the drinks in dinner were not included).
The hotel itself is the middle. The rooms are clean, but made in rather durable gray tones, the technique is outdated (for example, I have not seen safe on the key, but I met him just in this hotel). Not really liked the bathroom - everything is clean, but plumbing is quite old.
The room was air conditioning, it worked fine. By area, the number is medium, not big and not small. The room has a large balcony, plastic table and chairs on it.
In general, the number is average, is suitable for living, but you are hardly delighted.
For meals in the hotel - the breakfasts are monotonous, there were cucumbers-tomatoes, fried eggs, boiled eggs, sausages, sausages, yogurt, baking and sweets. From drinks - juices, water, tea and coffee. Pretty tasty, but for our two-week stay, breakfast has never changed.
Dinners are more diverse, there were evening Greek, international and Chinese cuisine. I didn't like it only Chinese, as I do not like it at all.
Drinks, as I said, paid - water, juices (chemicals must be said), wine, beer and soda.

In general, I would give the hotel an average estimate - more and less, but it does not reach the mark "Good".
