Having visited Bulgaria for the first time, we chose Burgas. Being one of the largest cities with developed infrastructure, it is also rightfully considered to be a resort town. So they wanted to get such a mix, to connect a visit to the sightseeing program and rest in the resort. I also save money a little, because Bulgaria is not so far away, and there prices are pleased to be pleasant.
On the first day we went to the beach, we are three girls - girlfriends who came for new impressions.
From the hotel traveled to the central beach (as it seemed) Eternity. They fell on the waves, and the water did not please at all with its purity at all, there was no possibility to pay, I had to plunge and raise away in search of something delicious. So as not to leave your first (and the last) unpleasant impression I will say right away, all other days on the beach pleased the sun, clean water and the absence of ever-sticking cakes on our beaches.
Prices in Burgas shops immediately raise the mood. Fruits at all seemed cheap. Of course, it can be explained by the fact that all the same, the city is not at all 100% resort, but by having been in Europe, I was with what to compare and what to be happy. After all, Bulgaria is still one of the countries of the European Union, but pleasantly surprised! The same with clothing stores. You can easily allow you to buy yourself the same swimsuit, which, as practice has shown it is quite possible to forget at home, carefully leaving the cabin-bought on the balcony or newly purchased in the closet. Near our hotel was Burgas Plaza ... In my opinion there is everything there! Even omnipresent magnets and cosmetics for every taste and prices with a pink aroma ("business card" of Bulgaria).
More than pricing policy, very pleased with the food. I do not like the first, but Bulgarian chicken soup with the vermicelline, Mmm, just losing his fingers. Very large portions and very tasty.
Beer and wine did not please at all. They took a try to try their famous cops (mint liqueur) ... I didn't come to anyone from us to tastes, they treated everyone who was that evening in the Hall of the hotel. If you still want to try, do not repeat our error, take a small bottle, buy you to buy at any time, in any kiosk.
There are no problems with public transport, no with a search for a taxi in Burgas, in addition, any middle and older person will understand and tell me the answer to our favorite questions: "How to pass?" Or "where to find?" Schoolchildren (even high school students) in Russian do not understand, do not try, that surprised, in English too ...
Everywhere, all the power and calmly, no one is missing for the hand, nothing is trying to sell or advertise, in general, if you do not like intrusive service - this is the most!
In memory of Burgas I still have a bottle of liquid soap with a rose aroma, a hand cream (everything with the same aroma) and of course the magnet and the image of Burgas and, you will not believe the small tube attached to it ... Rose Oil ))
