A visit to the Grand Canyon was one of the mandatory stages of our US travel. And after a 6-hour flight from New York, my friend and we were in Phoenix. There we were already waiting for the pre-booked Ford Mustang 2012. New, with zero mileage, our Mustang risen from the airport to the city itself. Phoenix was not particularly remembered. An ordinary American metropolis. There are almost no people in the city center.
Not suspecting, focusing on Hard Rock, in which we were going to have dinner, we were next to the Basketball Arena of the Phoenix Suns Club. My curiosity and passion for sports arenas suffered my legs in this sports complex. On our surprise, we were missing for any problems inside the arena. And we were pleased to have taken some pictures of the basketball court, at that moment some kind of children's competitions were held.
Having spent 10 minutes to inspect, we went to have a snack in Hard Rock, which is right across the road. There was no one in the cafe! We were the only visitors. Thanks to this, our trapes turned out quite fast))
We planned to stay for a couple of days in the city of Flagstaff. This place seemed to us optimally located in relation to the Grand Canyon. We arrived at the hotel already darkening. Quickly took shape at the reception and went to sleep. We had an early climb, at 7. The good of this was easy for us because of time zones. The whole day that we were wheeling on reserves and simply amazing places, I could not believe that all this was revealed. I dreamed of seeing all these places since childhood and here they are in front of me, in all its glory.
Deserted roads, with a gorgeous scenery. Thematic Indian music, sounding from the car columns, when you drive to the reservation of the Indians. And, of course, the canyon himself! I just sat down on the shots and enjoyed the views.
The feeling of serenity flooded at me at that moment. I love such places that make you forget about everything and just enjoy the moment. It is indescribable! It is a feeling that in front of you is just a picture, it all looks so unreal that it is not for a long time to believe this is a non-good miracle.
Back to Flagstaff We arrived at 9 pm. The town is small. Basically, students live there, because the city has a large university. Therefore, there are many bars, clubs and other entertainment for young people. There is nothing to look there, but as I said, it is perfectly located in relation to the canyon.
And of course, several pictures of our Mustang. The car is a fairy tale. Ford perfectly approached our journey through this area. And at that time, he cost us quite inexpensively.
I like how Americans are suitable for the design of eaters and souvenir shops. On the segment from Phoenix to Vegas, we met a large number of cafes with shops. It would seem to be in this wilderness of few people going, but even there is a large selection of the most diverse souvenir products.
We remained impressed by another half of the road to Vegas. So far, the following types and structures made us admire them =)))
