Kefalonia is an island in the Mediterranean Sea, belonging to Greece, the largest of the ionic islands.

First of all, I note that there are quite a lot of accommodation options on Kefalonia - the whole hotels, hostels and apartments on the island of about 500 (although, of course, in the summer some of them can be booked).

Cheap options
One of the cheapest accommodation options on Kefalonia is a guest house called Vavasis Rooms. . There is also free private parking and wireless Internet. The cost of two weeks accommodation is 17 thousand (without breakfast) and 24 thousand with breakfast.

Medium price category hotels
To the hotels of the average price category, I relate three and four-star hotels are hotels with a large set of extra services, with quite spacious rooms and more modern furniture and appliances. In almost all hotels of this level there is a swimming pool, and the breakfast is in most cases included in the price of living.
Such hotels on Kefalonia are a bit - at the time of writing the article, only about 30 options are available, and in general, they are significantly less than cheap hotels and apartments.
Prices for hotels 3 Stars start from 28 thousand rubles for a two-week stay, and on average, 30 - 40 thousand. The cheapest four-star hotel, affordable to booking, will cost you 55 thousand rubles, and for the most expensive you will have to give more than one hundred thousand.

Power type
Kefalonia hotels offer various types of food. In cheap hotels, very often nutrition is not offered at all or this breakfast, in hotels of the average price category, most often breakfast is included, in some places you can find half board (although it is rarity). There is practically no hotels working on the system "All Inclusive" on the island (only one is currently available to booking).
Thus, if you would like to live on the "All Inclusive" system, Kefalonia is not exactly the place to be considered as a vacation option.
If breakfast is satisfied with you, then there are a sea of such options.
Also on the island a lot of apartments with a kitchen - this is perfect for those who would like to save on food, for those who like to cook himself, and, of course, for families with young children who prefer to prepare personally.
Speaking about Kefalonia in general, I will note the following features of living on the island:
