This resort can rightly be called a little Barcelona, or "Barsolonetettaya", as its locals and tourists call.
Italy, as a place for recreation, chose from the current husband without thinking. We wanted to spend time romantic, in a relaxed atmosphere, where there are few Russian-speaking tourists. And not mistaken with the choice.
Alghero is located on the island of Sardinia, having a feet shape. He read the legend that God, when he created the world, first stepped on this land. That's the resort, if you imagine the feet, is under the reflection of the Mizinz.
The resort has its own airport, it was very convenient. I did not have to spend in a hot car time and nerves. However, direct airlines from Russia here are not yet allowed, we had a transplant to Cagliari.
We immediately loved this area. The pure blue sea and shifted with its freshness and cooling, mountain hills, rocks that fall and merge with the sea, green groves. Nature is just divine.
The architecture of the city was also impressed. First of all, it costs to visit here, this is the Cathedral of Santa Maria. With the cathedral there are also a museum with amazing and unique church artifacts. It was fun and on the central square of Piazza-Chivik, it was here that the legendary castle of Palazzo-d'Babis is located.
The tourist operator who was engaged in our holiday included the tour and excursion to the limestone rocks of Cape Capo-Kachche, where we had a unique opportunity to see the cave Neptune. The view is wonderful, I remember for life. It is worth seeing.
Visit Italian cities and not try national cuisine dishes would be a huge disadvantage of our trip. In addition to delicious pasta, pizza and other Italian dishes known for us, it is worth trying grilled fish dishes. Real jam. The main secret of their delicacies was freshness and simplicity of cooking. Delicates for us became marine hedgehogs. As the owner of one restaurant told us, even the festival in February-March is held in honor of them.
And the conclusion that we did at the end of the trip is that Alghero is a city for a romantic trip, for seating on the embankment with a glass of Italian wine against a bright sunset.
