The capital of India Delhi is a huge megalopolis in which modern skyscrapers and offices of international corporations coexist with slums, beggars and fraudsters living on the streets. Ride specifically in Delhi for sightseeing, in my opinion, not a very good idea. Too much in Delhi Antisanitaria, noise, gama, dust and dangers to be deceived. But if fate threw you into this original city (transit, for example), then take advantage of this wonderful opportunity with the greatest benefit and pleasure.
If you have a lot of time in Delhi, you can familiarize yourself with all the sights of the city, such as Red Fort, the Gate of India, Kutb Minar, Humayun Tomb.
Personally, this dumb witnesses of the "antiquity of the deep" are not very impressive. In my opinion, it is more expedient to allocate for Delhi a little more time and go by train, a taxi or a tourist group in Agrus in order to see with your own eyes to see the love story in marble - Taj Mahal.
For me, for me, the main attractions of Delhi, who shocked my imagination, became a modern Lotus Temple and Mega modern, luxurious and stunning complex Achshardham. Both attractions are conveniently located in the metro stations of the same name, you can get to them from anywhere in the city. Entrance to Achordham and the territory of the Lotus Temple is free, constructed and contain both objects on the means of patients.
The uniqueness of the structure of the Lotus Temple is that air circulation in it creates the effect of natural air conditioning, and also contributes to the world's most favorable circulation. In the majestic, large-scale and excellent complex, Achshardham is imperceptibly able to spend all day, but it may seem not enough in order to fully enjoy all its aesthetic pleasures. Journey through the "River of Time", an alley with statues of the characters of the history of India, a stunning beauty Temple of White and Blue Marble - this is not a complete list of what can be seen in Akshardham.
I recommend to visit the complex in the evening in order to see, in my opinion, the most interesting action is the evening fiery puja (religious rite) and a stunning show of singing fountains for musical accompaniment Mantra.
