Vienna in February: Weekend Mozart

Anonim

Vienna Magic medieval city, where at every step you can get a heart attack from the affecting architecture. There were only two days there and only rejuvenated themselves, weekends for such a concentration of landmarks are very small! We decided with her husband that one day would be dedicated to walk around the city and eating Viennese waffles, and the second day we will allocate for the museum quarter.

Pumping some applications with guidebooks we went to the road. There really is what, especially the cathedrals and churches, whom the great set here. We were very lucky to dinner: I got to the cathedral (if I'm not mistaken) of St. Stephen and heard the striking depth of messing sounds! I felt at the place of fishermen, who lured to trap the magic singing of sirens. It turned out that the organ concert was given there. I previously heard organ music, but what was poured into my ears in Vienna was more than music. Thanks to the thoughtful acoustics, she fascinated and fascinated. In addition, in the same cathedral there is a great observation deck, where you can enjoy the panoramic view. We are not lucky a little, it was foggy enough, but still very beautiful. In the evening, we walked along the city rink near the town hall, everything was decorated with multi-colored light bulbs and other illumination, the beauty is indescribable.

On the second day they went to the museum quarter, they wanted to visit at least several museums, but for some reason in most work hours up to 18, or even 16. Very uncomfortable and extremely strange for such popular tourist destinations. I regret that I did not look at the schedule of work, and came only to dinner, so we managed only in the urban museum of natural science. There we disappear before closing. At first I thought that this is some palace - no, it turned out that this building is our goal. Most of all I was struck by a huge number of exhibits with extinct animals. There is even a skeleton of a dinosaur! Never seen before, it probably became the main impression of the trip!

In general, Vienna is a convergent fairy tale. We seemed like visited the pages of the medieval chronicles. I am grateful to the fate that she abandoned me in this city, and pray, so that in this life I still have such a chance.
