In Alanya rested in 2014. It so happened that at the time I was looking for a more budget holiday destination. Actually, Alanya arranged a large selection of hotels on any wallet size, sandy beaches, pretty terrain with a large number of greenery. Hotels have large and small, chic and cheap, with water parks and without. With a gentle sandy entrance to the sea and pontoam. They are quite tightly located all over the coast. If desired, you can walk along the beaches of neighboring hotels.
The resort is surrounded by mountains, apparently, so the climate is softer there. The sea in the second half of May is already heated to quite acceptable + 22 degrees. At first it seems cool, then you get used to it. Sometimes the sea pools the waves, kids are glad to jump in them. However, it is necessary to be careful and not fit close to the stones at sea excitement. The daughter badly struck the legs about the stone after the wave impact.
In water, stones can be observed from different fish, swam from the mask - interesting. Sand on the beaches is pleasant, golden. Sunbeds are full, but also a lot of people. There are water entertainment (bananas, parasailing).

Pleasure yacht, caves, Cleopatra Beach. And, in fact, the city of Alanya himself, although it is difficult to call a landmark. Houses, banyan on each other, and narrow streets. And on the horizon of the mountain and the sea.
To the main historical attractions and Pamukkale's favorite tourists to go for a very long time. There were no problems with the language. Russians there are a lot, including those who bought real estate in Alanya. In many shops, Russian sellers. Accordingly, the locals are already well understood by the Russian language, but will always be very happy if you tell them at least a few words on your native Turkish.
There is a distance to the airport, especially if you drive to other hotels, collecting tourists. Two hours - two and a half will have to go. But, in principle, quite tolerant.
I consider Alania a suitable resort for all generations. Here there is a place to taste and families with children, and young people, and the people of old age.
