Now I will try to tell a little about the places in which I was pleased with the service, or the opposite pushed. And also I will tell you about some establishments in which I managed to visit.
"Sorbetto" is a wonderful coffee house with a very convenient location. Cooks prepare everything with taste, without frills. It is possible to choose a dessert version without sugar and fat is a big plus. I concluded that prices are too overestimated. And since the menu is expensive, it means that the choice of dishes should be large. I put an estimate 4/5.
"Lammhaus Grill & Bar" was a good choice among many restaurants in Quito. I had an early dinner there and I was not disappointed. My husband and I travel a lot, were in different places, but not everyone can relax and feel so comfortable as in this institution. We were not difficult to find the fast-right street, the restaurant is close to the Marriott hotel, in which we stopped. All that is written in the menu was ready to prepare for us - and this is a rarity even for Russian restaurants. And in South America, there are generally very lazy inhabitants who will not make you a mojito if the mint should be rushing in the backyard. We really tried to please and fulfill all our wishes. Beautiful, bright and welcoming restaurant, good owners and delicious food. It does not work on Sundays, but is open around the clock on other days of the week. Rating 4/5.
"ZAZU" is a first-class restaurant, a delicious service. We were a little surprised and amazed, seeing many English-speaking visitors at the tables in sportswear. It was inappropriate and looked mad, but it rather characterizes Americans and the lack of a good tone manner. Food in the institution was very high-quality, the cook tried to combine local traditional cuisine with a modern one's own style. At first it seemed to us that the prices for dishes were too high, given that we were in South America. But when the dishes ordered by us were brought, we realized that it was worth it - very high-quality cooked local dishes (Peruvian Sevic, Sybas, Risotto). The service personnel did not hurt the menu, took the order - each action was performed very slowly, but nothing else should be expected from this country, here you will not run in the hind legs. In any case, we did not hurry and could afford to relax. Clothing on us was simple, without excesses (jeans, T-shirts, sneakers), behind the other tables, leisurely eaten their business - lunches of solid people, bureaucrats. But no one embarrassed and we felt "in their plate." Rating 4/5.
"Cafe San Blas" is one of the wonderful budget institutions in the capital of Ecuador. I recommend it to both secured people and fed to the means. This restaurant can be considered a find. All products are fresh, salads just cooked, pizza fragrant and crispy, paste is just super. Fresh juices and smoothie from fresh fruits and vegetables. The institution closes later than many other restaurants. I also wanted to note the speed of service and efficiency. I put an estimate 5/5.
I would like to add that we do not advise you to eat in one institution several times. This is Latin America, not Thailand. Here they are preparing good and tasty only when you come for the first time. For the second time, as a rule, you can give dirty devices, prepare low-quality or stupid food. Therefore, be alert and listen to this rule, we "burned down" on this several times, because they thought they would appreciate regular customers!
With you, just in case from Russia, carry drugs from intestinal infections, at least mesim forte. Remember that the treatment outside your homeland is several times more expensive to you! Be sure to learn and write down in a notebook somewhat most important in your opinion of expressions that you can come in handy. In Ecuador they speak Spanish, so you will not hurt the dictionary.
