Slovakia Country Castle, Mountains, and Women's European Nature.

Last summer, in June, we rested in Slovakia in June. The time was not particularly chosen, just so coincided with the leave, and turned up a burning ticket. This is not the most popular destination from our tourists, because Slovakia has no way out to the sea. By the way, for us it was the first holiday held abroad not by the seashore. But, as it turned out, in Slovakia and without this a lot of interesting things.

We started my journey from the east of the republic, from a visit to the National Tatry Mountain Park. In winter, this is a pretty popular ski resort, but many tourists are found on ecological paths there. Yes, the Tatras are not very large on European standards of the mountain, just 27 km, 25 mountain peaks are the highest of which reaches 2655 meters. But all the same, beautiful landscapes, coniferous forests, rivers are suitable for rafting, clean mountain air, all this is worth to go there. And even in June, it's pretty cool in the mountains, snow still lay on some vertices.

We performed the first stop in a small, quiet town of Old Smokovets. From there by buses, we went to Stebsko Pleso and Tatrans Slaitsz. Where we ride on the catal road, right from it there is a beautiful view of high tatras. We also visited the town of Levoch, there is also a lot of interesting things. Fortress walls, well-preserved vintage buildings, town hall, church, there are museums. On the main square there is a shameful cell, a sort of sight, in ancient times in it, the universal show was exposed to criminals. After Levoch, the cities of Spissk, Podgladje and Presov, all these cities are quite similar to each other, with their fortresses and ancient architecture. In the last, I really liked the historical museum. Relieving the collection of fire trucks and technology there. So I advise you to look there.

After spending about a week in the east of Slovakia, we went to the West. In particularly large cities, we almost did not visit, much more interesting to us seemed to the city of Komarno. This city is located in the southwestern part of the country, on the border with Hungary. It is noteworthy that the border goes directly in the Danube, and the city is divided into two parts of Slovak and Hungarian. And they live there predominantly Magyara. Karno is still known for its thermal sources, at any time of the year, water is not cooled there below 30 degrees and is considered healing. In the same city, the large fortress of Slovakia itself is located.

For a couple of days, they drove in Trencin, this is also a resort city, only a little more bigger. There, too, there are its mineral springs, hospitals, but we arrived there not for their sake. Whereas for us was Mala Fatra Mountain Reserve. Wonderful mountains, gorges, canyons with many caves.

All this journey in Slovakia occupied more than 2 weeks. In the capital of Brattslava we visited, you can say passage, already before sending home. Unfortunately, at the sights time was missing.

But I think, rest and so it turned out wonderful.
