Most budget housing is located in the districts of Pagan Nyun y and ve-Ji Ying. Nyun y is farther from stupas and temples, but many tourists are still preferred to stop there, since there are much more local restaurants with lower prices. Be-Ji Ying is about halfway between the villages of Nyun y and the old Pagan, closer to the monuments, but to good restaurants will have to go for quite a long time (or go for about 10 minutes by bike).
And now let's talk about inexpensive and good accommodation, which you can consider if you "put the skis" in Pagan.
Zfreeti Hotel.
Previously, the budget hotel called New Heaven, but it is for you, I think is not interesting. This is a real paradise for flashpeckers. Located a 15-minute walk from the bus station in Nyun and five minutes from the "main restaurant band", this hotel is like a sip of fresh air in the city, full of dusty excavations. Although the hotel is quite close to the main tourist area of Pagan, it is built on a quiet street with very small traffic, so tourists do not suffer from road noise, unlike guests of hotels on the main road. The hotel is a massive complex, which includes a number of long blocks with rooms and a pool, surrounded by a large brick fence. The hotel was opened in December 2013, this is one of the newest hotels in Pagan. It is felt: sparkling tiled floor, still white sheets, modern flat-screen TVs and a clean pool - Salvation on hot days. The rooms are equipped with air conditioning, and by the way, due to the fact that many hotels in Pagan are old, Condeyev is not there. Rooms differ in price and design. In those that are more expensive, there is everything for tea drinking, there is no such thing in cheap. And the hotel is very bright, unlike other backpackers. And also - free WiFi, mini bar, refrigerator, flawless clean toilet and hot water. Every morning, a rich breakfast is served here on the terrace (included in the room rate). The staff can even bring you cold drinks to the pool. Of course, you pay a little more for this hotel, but believe me, it is worth it. I think it makes no sense to spend money on more expensive numbers when there are such good and at adequate prices.
Oasis.
The hotel is a little away from AnaWyahta Road, a 10-minute walk from the market. And this is really a small oasis. Rooms are located in a narrow block surrounded by beautiful lawns and a garden. In the back of the block there is a medium-sized pool. New beautiful spacious rooms with all standard facilities, including a flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and new underwear on semi-solid beds. The floors are a bit embroidered. Suite rooms are more, better equipped and are closer to the pool. Very friendly staff. In general, if it matches your budget, and if you do not mind the location of the hotel, do not look for another hotel.
Shwe Na di Guesthouse
Although it is not the cheapest of guest houses in the area, but what is the good staff here! The bathroom is general or its own (it is better to take with your own, there are better numbers). The hotel loves backpackers, as they believe that this is the cheapest place in the city, and, although it is not, it is a pretty good compromise and an interesting place to get acquainted with other travelers. There is free Wi-Fi. If you stay for several nights, you can easily get a discount. The best rooms are located in a separate building.
Bagan Princess Hotel.
This is the most expensive hotel on the road between Nyun y and ve-Ji Ying. The rooms are really cool, though, the beds are hard to do, but everywhere air conditioners and flat-screen TVs, minibars and so on. In clean bathrooms there are even jacuzzi and other pieces, which in other hotels will not find Pagan. The rooms at high comfort come directly to the pool, and, if you pay $ 10, you can admire the pool, lying in the jacuzzi. WiFi is available only in the lobby.
NEW Life Guesthouse.
It is very difficult to pass by this bright blue-green hotel, standing on the Nyun Room Road Rooms, and the same interesting, as well as the outdoor view of the hotel. They are very clean, pretty spacious, and, given the location, there is not so noisy as you think. The hotel was recently built, and it felt on the purity of bathrooms and a functioning technique. One minus of the hotel in its location, but tedes flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The hotel is quite a lot of rooms, so in a high season, when all other hotels are filled with tourists, there will be available rooms.
NEW PARK HOTEL.
The hotel's rooms are located in two long housings passing in parallel to one of the alleys derived from the restaurant alley. The hotel boasts a comfortable and beautiful territory with shady trees. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel actually looks a little better outside than from the inside, and the price of the rooms, honestly, is overestimated, but if you want to stay nearby the streets of restaurants, it is perhaps the only decent option.
Pyinsa Rupa Guesthouse.
The guest house is located next to the Inn Wa Guest House, but on the other side of the road. Outside - nothing special. If you do not mind the slightly ugly shared bathroom, you will get one of the cheapest places that can be found in Pagan. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning and air conditioning, and breakfast is included in the price. If you do not have children with you or you do not need some romantic setting, but you need a place where you can simply relax before finding something better the next day, Pyinsa RUPA meets these requirements.
Inn Wa Guesthouse.
If you arrived in Bagan very late at night or very early in the morning, most likely you will fall out just a few steps from this hotel, which is standing on Anawrahta Road. Accordingly, it is very easy to quit a backpack and rest - respectively, it is inexpensive. This is a good place - the rooms are good, with air conditioning and clean bathrooms (though, it is possible that only cold water will be). It seems to me that it is worth walking up the road, save a couple of dollars and get a quiet place. However, if you decide to stay here, choose a room at the rear of the hotel to avoid morning noise.
