In general, Tuban, of course, is much easier and calmer than Kuta and Legian (but Legian is calmer than Kuta). But, if you want fun, it is not necessary to go far - getting from Tuban to Kuta or Legian somewhere in 10-15 minutes on a bike (although it will have to make a huge hook, because the movement in the cute left-sided and one-sided (almost everywhere!) )
Cons Tuban
Yes, it is rather the cons of all Bali. As I already wrote above - Bali is clearly not for those who crave a relaxing beach holiday. No, of course, there are pretty separate beaches on Bali, where you can sow and sunbathe. But Kuta is not swimming in the sea! Kuta is a generally very, very dirty beaches with garbage floating right in the water, unfortunately.
Beaches Cute, mostly public. IMHO, in general, Tuban is more suitable for active youth than for families with small children (although some Tuban hotels offer adequate conditions for living with babies and even their own beach). In general, with the baby, then it is better to go on the coast of Nusa Dua (20-25 minutes for a taxi from Tuban), although there are terrible flows, the nasty algae. You can also try high-speed hotels in Jimbaran (cool clean beaches there, and, our own!)
- As you know, Bali is Mecca for surfers from around the world. I would even say that Bali is not a beach vacation, and the rest is cultural and sports. So, about sports. Kuta is considered one of the best surfing sites (although only newcomers are mainly riding there, and professionals choose other spots on the Bali coast, Nubam unknown), because the waves are strong here even in the lowest period. But in the Tuban itself there is no beach as such, only small approaches to the ocean next to some hotels, but there sometimes dirty and it is not always possible to ride on the board (because of the large stones at the bottom). Therefore, it is better to ride a ride on Kuta Beach and Legian Beach - these are really huge serfs with surfing equipment and surf school items.
In general, it can be concluded that Tuban is a very pretty Russian area with its advantages and minuses.
