Of course, Seminyak is primarily active sports, chic hotels with bars, shopping and lazy folly on the beach. But and some attractions here too, although not so much.
- Seminyak's light
Not that it was a separate attraction. But it can be attributed to it. Seminyak Beach is parallel to Jalan Raya Seminyak and you can attend if you want, even at night. This beautiful sandy beach (white sand) is located north of Legian Beach. The white sand strip stretched 3 kilometers from the Tuban area, and this is an extremely popular place among all tourists.
On the beach there are big waves that are perfect for surfing, therefore, on the beach you will see many surfers from different countries of the world (but, mostly, it is Australians) who boldly conquer the waves and enjoy the surf. This beach is also famous for the beautiful panorama of the Indian Ocean, and it is still full of hotels (and world-class), restaurants of international cuisine and other entertainment fools. In the south, the beach flows into Legian Beach, and then to Kutu-Beach. But, compared to these two beaches, Seminyak Beach is much quieter and calmer. The sunsets are incredibly beautiful here, and admirement of sunsets in the beach bars is a favorite entertainment of all tourists. Especially love everyone's restaurant "Ku de Ta", where you can sit and admire a red sky and black shiny sand, sipping cocktails.
- Petitenget
Next to this beach is the famous church of Pura Pettitty, so this beach was called. The beach with gray sand looks very mysterious, and it is much less popular among tourists. Tourists rarely come here, and, we can say that there are only local residents who come to swim or play. And yet, the sunsets are also very beautiful and watching them here - one pleasure!
- Pura Puretethet Temple (Pura Petitenget)
Located near the beach of the same name, on JL Petitenget. This is a small, but pretty beautiful Balinese temple, one of the very few cultural attractions in the prestigious seaside resort. Temple, by the way, old, and stands at this place, at least from the 16th century. And although this is not the key and not most popular place among tourists (the travel agencies at all do not advertise in any way and there are almost no tourists there), this is an important link in a series of temples of the western coast of temples (this one stands between Poura Ulwatat and Pura Tanah Lot).
Petitenget translates approximately as a "magic box", which allegedly belonged to a famous very honored Balinese priest of the 16th century named Dang Hyang Nirartha (Dang Hyang Nirartha), which arrived here from Java Island with an important mission. Wrap in your sarong and visit this quiet temple before sunset, in order to admire the light caresses the sculpture at the entrance to the temple. Wonderful spectacle, very peaceful! The temple is built of red brick and gerbil, and it looks very old.
To the entrance to the temple leads a staircase, a moss, and then a huge yard with a dozen different shrines and small pavilions, draped by typical Balinese checkered tissues. Next to the main temple is a smallest temple - Masceti Ulun Tanjung Temple. This is a temple where local residents pray (in the past against hunger and diseases). If you bring to visit the temple during the jubilee celebrations, which are coming on Wednesday "Meely" every 210 days in the Balinese calendar, then you will witness an incredible spectacle: the temple is colorfully decorated with transparencies and umbrellas, and hundreds of pilgrims flock here on prayers in their best outfits. . - Art Gallery Biasa Artspace
This gallery is the "daughter" of the famous Balinese fashion brand. The gallery was opened in 2005 by the fashion designer and the founder of the company Biasa, the Susanny Periini, in assistance with young Jokyakarta artists in the late 1990s. On the territory of the gallery, which existed unofficially, there were local art communities for some time and soon the place was an international platform for selected local artists.
The gallery is located just a few steps from the popular Biasa Seminyak store on the main road. There are excellent collections of contemporary art, which will certainly like fans of art and fashion. Regular exhibitions are held with the participation of well-known and not very well-known Indonesian artists: paintings, figurines, mysterious sculptures and other impressive work. And even-way clothes. Upstairs there is a mini-library, where the shelves are filled with books and magazines in art - it is possible to extract them, sitting on soft sofas.
At another far end of the gallery there is a studio of artistic restoration. Exhibits at the exhibition are constantly changing, and if you find yourself there for the second time, then you probably won't see anything friend.

- Kendra Gallery (Kendra Gallery)
This is a unique art space, which presents bright work, and where visitors can communicate with the creators of art objects (but more often only at the opening of a new exhibition).
Great place to escape from feverish movement in the center of Seminyak and plunge into the world of art. Gallery open in 2008 is just a 10-minute walk from Jalan Laksmana, on a small and quiet Jalan Drupadi Street. The building is surrounded by a green garden with a pond with lilies, where cultural evenings are also held. The gallery is put up, mostly paintings and sculptures of young Indonesian artists who, for the most part, create their work in the style of surrealism and pop art.
The permanent collection of kendra includes the creations of more than 70 artists. No less interesting is the spacious salon, which was called 'Velocita Bohemienne'. This is a "speed room" - vintage (and dirty) racing helmets and racing clothes, vintage bicycles, and so on, as well as photographs waved on red brick walls. After watching collections, you can relax and drink coffee in the Deus Café cafe next to the museum.
