Legian is the older brother of Cute: more mature, more comfortable, less noisy, slightly more cultured. Legian has a lot in common with Kuta (and Legian, by the way, part of the cute) is also a typical resort town with an abundance of hotels and the Gasthus, a lot of good cheap food, good shopping opportunities, surfing schools, democratic cafes and discos.
Kuta seemed to fit into Legian without even a hint of some borders, while the official border between them - Jalan Benesari in the south and Jalan Double Six (or Jalan Arjuna) in the north, although for many Legian begins with Melasti on South is a more natural border. The main drive and occurs in the center of Legian inside the territory formed by Jalan Melasti, Jalan Sahadewa, Jalan Padma and Jalan Padma Utara. In general, the family, Legian and Kuta merged into one territory and are one big resort, popularly beloved. In fact, there are no boundaries there. Therefore, many do not even share this territory for three different resorts. Everything is one, everything is approximately the same, everywhere well (someone else is bad everywhere). And all these resorts, though slightly different from each other, are full of tourists, garbage, and the beaches there is not everywhere exemplary.
