My favorite ski resort of Ukraine is Bukovel. I go to Bukovel every year, if not only in winter, but also in summer, in the spring, in the fall. At any time of the year there is something to do. Excellent infrastructure, good service. In winter, there are ideal routes, a fun life, and in the summer - a peaceful rest near the purely man-made lakes, fishing.
But, since I am an avid snowboarder, I adore Bukovel in the winter!
Many say that Bukovel is expensive. Yes, expensive, but not for those who go there constantly and knows how to save. I can share my own experience.
So, the first and most important cost of expenses is accommodation. In the Bukovel itself or in the village of Palazhitsa, where this resort is located, the accommodation is very expensive. Therefore, accommodation needs to be removed in neighboring villages, such as Yablunitsa, Tatars, Tatars, Mik. or in Yaremche. There you can find accommodation from 150-200 UAH. For the room, which is at times cheaper than on Bukovele. To get from your place of accommodation to the resort, you just need to sit in one of the bus buses that run every half hour.
The second weighty cost of expenses is subscriptions to the lifts. The best option is to buy subscriptions in the fall, when Bukovsel makes stocks and sells them much cheaper than at the box in the winter. But, if you have not prepared in advance, then do not sleep for a long time, and buy subscriptions at the checkout until 9:00 on the "Morning Promotion" and you will save from 20% to 40% depending on the day off or a weekday.
