The easiest and most way to get to Baltiysk, in my opinion, is a trip to the city from Kaliningrad on a bus or route taxi. Personally having tried this variant of movement, it remained very pleased. Bus routes are made on schedule, almost every half hour, from 6 am to 11 pm, the bus comes from the bus station, selecting passengers at the stopping points of Kaliningrad and on the highway (at stops indicated by routes). The bus number is 107, the time in the way takes a maximum of 1.5 hours (but maybe less, it depends on whether you will sit at once on the bus station or enter somewhere on the way), but it is worth passing up to 90 rubles, depending on Places landing. That is, the maximum amount is 90 rubles, if you sit on the bus station of Kaliningrad and go out at the final stop - Balti's bus station, but maybe less if you sit later. Honestly, I saw such a system for the first time, but it was very nice when on the way back it was possible to save a little, as it was necessary to go out for five to the station to go through the places of Kaliningrad. The only thing that can be noted is that in Kaliningrad, especially in summer and in the morning, it is better to sit still on the bus station, as you can take the place you like and go all the way to Baltiysk, sitting on the soft seat. Then there is probability to stumble upon the crowd of standing and leaving - the setting people, which may not be a big problem, but accurately prevents the surroundings of the neighborhood from the window.

In addition to buses, go to Baliysk Route taxi . They stand a little more expensive, but they go more often and go faster. In Baltiysk, they can be found on the same station (or rather, the playgrounds), not far from the building of the railway station. Given that Baltiysk is, first of all, a large seaport, you can get to it and water transport. Until 2014, it was very often possible to find an offer to get to the city on ferom From St. Petersburg, the walking along the route "Ust-Luga - Zassnits - Baltiysk - Ust-Luga." The duration of the flight was about 40 hours, the fare is from 3600 to 4800 rubles one way. But browsing the information before writing an article on the site of the ferry company, found an announcement that from June 2014 passenger transportation on the "Petersburg" ferry on this route is no longer produced (only cargo). Whether transportation will be renewed, unknown. But so, this type of trip was distinguished by a lot of duration, tediousness, flights were often delayed, and therefore were unstable. Therefore, it makes sense, in my opinion, choose another travel option. In particular, get to Kaliningrad, for example, by plane, and from there - land transport or car. Although if you are going to Baltiysk not from Russian cities, but, for example, from Europe, you can advise a comfortable ferry "Lisco Patria", which runs on the route Baltiysk - Klaipeda - Karlshamn and cruising once a week.
