In my opinion, Ivano-Frankivsk is a real pearl of Western Ukraine and visit this city, it is necessary. I am not a big cold amateur, so we and Ivan Ivano-Frankivsk and Ivano-Frankivsk. Winter here is snow and enough frosty, but summer I consider the ideal time for traveling through the cities of Western Ukraine, because even during the summer there is no strong heat with abnormal temperatures. The sights of Ivano-Frankivsk, deserve the most close attention, and so, I decided to write about them as much as possible.
Town Hall of Ivano-Frankivsk . The town hall is located on the street Galitsky and the museum is now opened in her room. At the very top of the Town Hall, there were constantly on duty who followed the security of the city, watching the emergence of fires or the presence of another danger to the city's residents. If the upper floors served as an observation point, then the lower were allocated for municipal authorities, and in the cellars of the town hall there was a prison. One thousand eight hundred and six hundred and eighth year, the town hall completely burned down. The city could not accept such a global loss and was decided to restore it, that is, to rebuild it. The second life, the Town Hall received one thousand eight hundred seventy-first. One thousand nine hundred and fifteenth year, during the hostilities, the town hall again suffered and for a long time was in emergency. Repeated recovery, stretched for quite a long time, as the city experienced material difficulties, but by one thousand nine hundred and thirty-ninth year the Town Hall again saw the world in all its glory. During World War II, the town hall wanted to undermine the Germans, but it did not succeed in them because at that time the town hall was reinforced concrete monolith, they could only damage it slightly. In a decent appearance, the town hall was led to one thousand nine hundred and fifty-seventh year and immediately gave the local history museum. In two thousand seventh year, the Town Hall decorated with hours that twelve Ukrainian melodies.
Monument to Mitskevich . The solemn opening of the monument was held in the twentieth of November one thousand eight hundred and ninety-eighth year. Over the creation of this monument, the famous sculptor Tadeusch Blotnitsky worked. It is noteworthy that the base of the monument was taken, a posthumous mask of the Polish poet was taken. This monument is one of two monuments that have been established in Ukraine by the century since the birth of the poet. The second monument to the poet is located in Lviv. Fountain "Egg" . Probably more anywhere in the world, it is impossible to see anything like that, because right in the city center, namely, the market is the fountain in the form of an egg. In order for you to better focus, I will say that it is exactly in front of the town hall. This fountain is considered the most famous fountain in the city. Its unusual and even a funny name, the fountain was not just like that, since it was named after the urban head, in which he actually was built. In the fountain itself, there is an egg and if you look at, you can see that it almost cracked and a small chicken foot or leg looks out of it, I don't even know how to call it. I could not understand the meaning of this monument for a long time, despite the city. It turns out he symbolizes the birth of beautiful and new. But what does an ordinary chicken egg? Fountain on the square, appeared in two thousand and fourth year, after fun and not much, events with the throwing eggs in one of the candidates who methyl to the post of head of state.
Temple in Ivano-Frankivsk . The first stone of this building was laid on the twentieth of June one thousand eight hundred and ninety-fifth year Rabbi Isaac Horowitsa.
