Riccione's town, which is called "Green Pearl" and the "secular salon" of the Adriatic Riviera, is located in the northeast of Italy in the Emilia Romagna region.
Most holidaymakers are local and tourists from Europe. Russians are quite small, as a rule, our tourists prefer the options for cheaper - in the neighboring Rimini. Rimini is a city of rich attractions, however, water and beaches there are not particularly clean. Still, a big city, not the resort. And cheap hotels are located outside the city.
Riccione is ideal for relaxing on the Adriatic coast. The town has a tourist port with yelling, many excellent clubs, as well as restaurants and fashionable boutiques on Chkkarini Street. Shopping in Richiaiona for every taste - you can buy both democratic Guess, Sisley, Zara and Armani, Furla, D & G and others. Prices in restaurants are quite acceptable. Especially cheaply selling coffee, by the way, good quality.
On the coast goes public transport, and there is also a railway station. Therefore, from Ricciona, you can easily get to Rimini.
I rested in Riccione in late August / early September. The weather was excellent - the sun shone, it was quite hot. In Rome, at this time, it was much hotter - after Riccione spent another time in the capital.
Water in the sea was warm, degrees 23-24, but very often the wind blew, and the sea is storm. A couple of days to bathe was almost impossible. However, due to the good sandy bottom, it is quite possible to poke the shore.
Water is very beautiful - azure color, sand light and small. The entrance to the water is gentle, which is very convenient.
Almost all the beaches in Ricchione are private and, accordingly, paid. The fee charge for the use of sun beds and umbrellas, and the rest of the infrastructure is attached by a bonus. On the beach there is a children's town, hammocks and chairs in the shade, cabins for dressing, shower, toilets. It is very convenient, the more you can pay for the entire period of stay - it is cheaper.
Free zones also have - can be found by signs. But basically everyone uses paid - this is really convenient.
After 16 to 17 hours on the beach, it becomes cool. Everyone goes to dinner and walk on Chekkarini. The center also has a street scene where concerts are held, and also invite interesting people, for example, they met with famous motorcycle races. It was very fun. And in the evening you can go to the disco.
I miss Riccione, her beloved Italy. And I dream now to be in Ricciona - in the heart of Emilia Romagna.
