Croatian Venice ... words, lured to holes, with admiration, repeats each, who had a chance to visit Rovini. This picturesque hail that occupied the entire small peninsula is reflected in the water stroit like a charming diva laughing at the mirror. Many owners seemed to see the wonderful Rovinj: Byzantine and German conquerors, Venetian merchants and brave Austria ruled here. Each of them remained memory in the walls of old houses hanging over warm adriatic.
A day spent on narrow streets raised up like the Crimean serpentine was not enough to breathe fresh air of an unreal venaceage. It was enough only to look into a couple of cozy courtyards, where, sitting on the benches, knit socks and napkins good-natured Croatian granny. Only a couple of moments managed to admire the bizarre creations of artists, sculptors and carvers on the tree, who came to Rovinj in search of inspiration. And of course, most of the trip went to the high peak of the Church of Saint Eviefmy - the main city temple, which looks at the house spread at thenime. Whether in the height of the wooden staircase on the bell tower, the view, opening from here, do not describe in words. From above the whole world as on the palm: and water surface, covered with snow-white yacht, and green gardens, and bright terracotta roofs.
Due to the lack of time, many miracles remained behind the scenes: we did not visit the city's town hall, nor in the Khaliphphi Palace, nor in the Church of Lady Mercy. Yes, and the colorful Rovinsky market, full of multi-colored fruits and fresh seafood, also remained only in dreams. But I am sure: we will return to the streets of Rovini, exploring the wonders of the Old Town.
