The name is the stadium appropriated in honor of the Italian football "star", the second name of the stadium, no less famous - San Siro.
You can not believe, judging by the super modern type of this building, that the stadium is not just very old - it is terribly said, soon "knocks out" a hundred years! Of course, in its original form, it was much smaller and not so chic. Built in 1926, he was immediately purchased by the Milan club. In twenty years later, suddenly it turned out that the stadium, where it was used to train "Inter", became a little for him, and Milan had to be sighted ...
Not very large fans of sports, and even more so Football, we learned a lot of interesting things during an excursion. For example, the fact that the "Inter" fans prefer to call this place with the name of their great compatriot-athlete, and "Milanovtsy" prefer to call him only San Siro. Or another interesting information - in 1990, 70 million euros were spent on the reconstruction of Sin Siro - the amount is quite impressive.
Amazing the imagination of their magnitude and power supporting the columns of the stadium, which we counted eleven, four of them are "masking" for stairs. They are made very original and unusual - in the form of spring.
San Siro serves not only to play football on it. At the stadium there were performances of such a "guru" of the musical world, like Madonna, Rolling Stones, "Deposta Ma". In 1980, Bob Marley, who also "had the honor" to spend his concert on San Siro, gathered an incredibly large number of her fans at the stadium - ninety thousand!
The first sports museum we, to our sorrows, could not visit, and I really wanted, so we were penetrated by the sports aura, hiding over San Siro. Nothing, this is our not the last visit to Milan, I will definitely come!
