This is a fairly interesting and cognitive excursion. And very popular among tourists.
A small ship is departed from the same pier (in the sense, on the Embankment of the Tower Road). The boat on which we sailed, accommodates something about 20 people. There is no closed salon there is such a ventilated ship, everything is simple under the canopy. The excursion is that you ride you about two hours, first on the bay of Marsamcht, gradually heading into a larger harbor, where the main part of the excursion passes. Along the way you are moving by Valletta and Vittoriasis. At the same time, by the way, you can navigate relative to the beaches of Valletta, because most of you will also see.
Almost the entire route passes along the coast, so it will be convenient to take pictures. You will see the fortress walls of the capital, various fortifications, a lot of beautiful cathedrals and temples. From the sea, it looks even more majestically and impregnable than it seems on the shore.
The excursion boat bypass almost all corners. You will see abandoned berths with semi-subordate ships, as well as military guard shores of Malta coast guard. Then swim even in the seaport of Valletta. There are anchored many big ships (mainly freight), and about the purpose of some ships you can only guess. How much this excursion is worth, I will not tell you, since we got it for free, as a gift (I do not remember what and where we bought for that). But someone said that in the area of 15 euros.
