White Lake: Our Soviet Recreation

Anonim

Before the trip to the White Lake in the Ulyanovsk Region, I believed that the "Soviet" sanatoriums with post-war furniture and a sample liner of 1972 were left in the distant past. But it turns out for the trips to such "rarities" even in our time there is a war.

We went to the Sanatorium "White Lake" for the company with my parents (young pensioners). The husband was interested in the story of the solid age of the lake itself and about some representatives of the local flora, which grows here from the ice age. He really wanted to either make sure this, or dispel this myth. The scientific and entertainment "expedition" did not quite succeed. First, among us there were no scientists who could determine at least the approximate age of old pines on the shore or the same centuries-old mosses and lichens. Secondly, the wretchedness of the so-called sanatorium crossed all the positive emotions caused by the beauty of the lake itself.

We had a standard double room (two beds, as many bedside tables, a table with two chairs, a wardrobe and a mirror). Amenities in the form of a soul and toilet were located somewhere in 30-40 meters from our hull. Food is also a Soviet type, and in two shifts. It is noteworthy that for breakfast and dinner first served dessert, and only after 10 minutes - the main dishes.

Nevertheless, a really picturesque nature was waiting for the fence of this wretched sanatorium. The lake is small, but very clean, apparently because of this it got its name. We took a boat several times for rent and rode 1-2 hours.

Three unsuccessful attempts were made to go fishing, but we never caught a single fish, although the husband expected to bring Amur from the White Lake, or at least a pike. But we were waiting for another catch - mushroom, no wonder this area is called "Mushroom Eldorado."

We also wanted to arrange a small barbecue, but it was categorically forbidden to breed the fire. Apparently because of a recent fire, because of which the lake was noticeably checked. A reminder was served as part of the unemployed ashes of the children's hive, which was in the sanatorium plan.

More entertainment, as such, nor in the sanatorium, nor in the very white lake. That is, if you want holidays - arrange it for yourself.
