Piestany are the Slovak Karlovy Vary, where our compatriots, by the way, are no less than at the Czech resort, where almost all the inscriptions are duplicated in Russian, and the locals occupied in the service sector, they will answer Russian again. We were here only two days, arriving at the weekend from Bratislava. But this time was enough to understand two things: the locals are more friendly and hospitable than their Czech collections in Vary, and the prices here are an order of magnitude lower, which does not affect quality.
Road
We drove from Bratislava by train. The cost of a ticket for both sides (ticket is valid for two days) - 8.60 per person.
Accommodation
Hotel We booked in advance, through Buking. The choice was left for not the cheapest, but very pleasant hotel in the center. The room for two with quite a decent breakfast cost in 35 euros per person. You should not forget that the city tax should pay in Piestany - by euros from each person per night.
Cost of excursions and entertainment
Despite the fact that Piestany is the resort of therapeutic, we did not go for treatment. They went only into the bathing "Eva" with closed and outdoor pools. It cost us in 3 euros per person. By the way, on the bathing island there are sources with therapeutic water and the rules of its use - you can drink it completely free.
There are also regular performances, festivals are held, however, we didn't get on any one - it was still very little time. Excursions Here are unmatched - very interesting and saturated. The cost of 8 euros for a sightseeing tour of the Piestans and the surroundings to 46 euros - for a tour of the high tatras. By the way, it is possible to drive around the pisteans in a small train, however, without audio operation. But there will be such a trip just 1.40 euros.
Food costs
Nutrition problems in Piestany will not arise. First, in sanatoriums offer special medicinal nutrition. Secondly, cafes in the city center abound. We had only breakfast, so we ate in the local cafe. The average magnitude of the pizza went out in 4.5-5 euros, depending on the filling, the big one, which is enough for two-three - 8 euros. Various beer - 1 euro. For some reason, in almost all cafes there was a special offer: Coffee with Strodel (by the way, very fresh) - 1.90. Local wine and braza (the situation is in the fall, the most season) - 80 euro scenes for a glass in a cafe and 3 euros per liter when buying a plastic bottle in one of the kiosks.
Purchases
Pieceans are not a place for shopping, and we didn't have such a goal. We bought only the magnets for 2.5 euros (there is also for the euro, but too non-zeroze) and the local thin wafers with a nut-filling - the clouds for one and a half euros. By the way, smokers: the cheapest cigarettes - 2.70, the average price is 3-4 euros.

In just two days of rest in Piestany (without the cost of flight and visa), about 80 euros per person were spent.
